Summary: The phone that I have received was broken one - mic and dynamic (earpiece) were faulty, I tried to connect headphones, but no sound. Thanks for seller - after my complain they send my money back!
Summary: I purchased this phone as "NEW" but not in original packaging to replace one I dropped in the lake. The first week I had the phone it worked fine, but after the first week, the battery would NEVER hold a charge and I could not get service at all. (Note, I have never had problems with my Verizon service NEVER) This phone, simply put, is a piece of crap and I was misled on the purchase.
Excerpt: I've been a fan of these simple LGs for a while. I had two previous models with this phone. My VX5500 arrived with a defective battery. The battery level lowered at a normal rate until there was about 70% of charge left on it (draining about 30%) and then drastically drained out completely during standby mode in a matter of 3 hours, so that the phone died and powered off. The phone has a one year warranty on it, and this defect arrived at purchase.
Summary: Verizon's customer service is notoriously bad, something driven home after a recent encounter. We had 7 charges from Verizon Wireless on our bank statement that were debited by Verizon Wireless Prepaid Account in one day without being credited to the cell phone account. We called Verizon's customer service and both the rep and supervisor refused to look into the issue, so we had to file disputes with our bank.
Excerpt: Im on my 3rd phone of this kind. The 1st one the screen frozed and the whole phone did not work properly. On 2nd phone only half of the buttons work. The battery life is horrible. I am quite disapointed at this phone. The camera and speaker phone are horrible.
Pros: Small and easy to use thats it
Cons: bad speaker phone, bad camera, poor battery life, and many problems
