Excerpt: I absolutely love this cell phone! I received this phone as a gift last year, and I absolutely love it. The day after I got this, I went outside and proceded to drop it on the ground. It bounced four times. It's surprisingly durable; there were only a few scratches. The outside screen has a chic and shiny appearance, and the gray coloring looks pleasantly blue in some light.
Excerpt: The LG VX-5400 cell phone works with the Verizon wireless network. When we upgraded our family plan in July 2008, this phone was available free, so we took advantage. If you're looking for a basic, no frills tiny phone, this would work for you. The camera isn't that great, and it has little memory. It can hold 100 incoming texts, and 100 sent texts, much less pictures, though. It is bluetooth compatable, which is good for the car. It also has internet, but for .99...
Excerpt: I got this phone as a prepaid phone from Verizon. It is very easy to set up and compact enough to put into your pocket. It has a front display that you can tap one of the buttons on the side to see the time easily. You can take pictures on the phone as well (but you need good light). You can take pictures with the display shut and with the front display by holding in the camera button until it comes up. It's easy to put in contacts and to call/text people.
Excerpt: My husband wanted the most basic phone I could get, with no extra expenses. This was free after rebate, so I grabbed it. It was an improvement, as my last phone didn't have a camera. However, if I were to go back in time, I would pay another $50 or so and get a different one. The battery doesn't seem to last long, and the camera is VERY disappointing. Pictures come out rough - not clear at all, and there's no flash, so most of them turn out dark. There's no memory...
Summary: I bought this phone for my father and he is one of those persons who just uses his phone to talk with people. So needless to say this phone delivers on that aspect the speaker is clear and it has big numbers on the dial pad which makes it easy for those who have limited vision to see what they are dialing. The battery life on this thing is remarkable!from the day it arrived after a full charge it lasted 3 weeks on average use.
Summary: I wanted an easy to use, simple cell phone. I don't even do texting. I wanted a phone for calling and I wanted a good battery life. I really don't even need the camera but for $20 this was a great buy. The phone came to me and looked brand new. The battery goes forever, like a week or so, but remember, I am a very light cell phone user. I am very pleased with this purchase and believe I got great value for my money.
Summary: I purchased this for my husband, as a replacement for a '2 yr Verizon phone' that had problems. This phone is Great - easy for him (a technophobe) - Great battery life; small, easy to carry; Very nice phone for the money; excellent seller; I would put this up with my Razorphone - which is my all time favorite.
Perhaps I should start looking for a more recent model.

Summary: I buy this phone used for members of my family. It's a good basic inexpensive phone and I can replace it cheaply when lost or damaged. This one showed more use than others I've bought and had a bad habit of shutting down when closed. I managed to get around this problem by adding a few layers of duct tape so the phone didn't close completely. Seems to work most of the time and it was less trouble than returning it, which I really should have done.
