Summary: I bought this phone in summer 2007 I was really impressed with the features that came with it. Never had a problem with it either, I was able to download music from my windows media player on my pc with no problem at all. I must of had a little over 200 songs stored in it and also over 200 wallpapers for the screen.
Summary: I needed to replace my old cell phone but did not want to pay for the digital plan. I like the VX8550 because it is compact when not in use and, because it is a slider, has a comfortable size when in use. In addition, the VX8550 does not have the disadvantage of flip phones that open at random when they are in a belt clip. The screen is large enough for me to read, even wearing my bifocals.
Summary: I absolutely loved the Chocolate by Verizon. I thought it was cute and the service was good and it was great that i could listen to my music and take pictures with it. This was one of the first phones i received that i loved so much i didn't want to give it up. I had it in red and black. Great little phone for the price!
Summary: I purchased this phone and I like it. However, the ESN is that of the LG Cosmo 2, not the Chocolate 2. Verizon was able to activate it fine for me. The battery has some issues. It could be a bad battery or bad connection with the charging port. That is an easy fix though. The phone works great and sound quality for me is what I was looking for. I am happy with my product.
Great phone, would still have it if I didn't have a smartphone

Excerpt: I used to own this phone before the days of the smartphone. It was an awesome phone, and I loved using it. I would still have it if 1.) I didn't have a smartphone and 2.) It had a QWERTY keyboard. Other than that, it's a great phone for someone who wants a stylish and pretty basic phone that you can load music files onto.
Excerpt: I have had this phone since 2008, so there have been some problems. the battery is bipolar (both of the ones i've had were) and the camera no longer works (whenever i try to take a pic or vid, the whole phone freezes requiring battery removal). Also, txt messages sometimes take 4 or 5 tries to send, which is very frustrating. Otherwise, this phone is very durable and has been dropped/stepped on numerous times and works.
Pros: not too bulky, pretty durable, good amount of customization options, speaker is pretty clear, scroll wheel is cool and fun to use, touch buttons are relatively sensitive, pretty easy to get used to
Cons: battery, camera, messages sometimes take a few times to send, internet is only for looking stuff up mainly, can be slippery, especially scroll wheel, buttons often lag, charge often
Excerpt: This phone is ok. I have has it since Christmas and I was happy with it then but not now. Its very...tough. I drop this phone all the time and it has not broke. I do have some scratches on my screen but I can still see the screen. Texting is pretty easy. The battery is really bad. If I talk to someone for 5 minutes the battery goes down to 1 bar and back up to 3. Very bi-polar battery. I have to charge it at LEAST once a day but usally two times.
