Summary: Purchased this phone for my 87 y/o husband. Verizon does not offer a simple phone for elderly users. My husband was not interested in a "smart" phone. He wanted a simple phone, with speaker option (he has hearing aids in both ears) and camera. We searched and searched....and finally found this gem! His contacts are few - and it was easy to program. He loves the ease of use, he can hear conversations well, and he was able to figure the camera out fairly quick!
Excerpt: the LGVX8300 is a great phone. I've had mine for a year and have absolutely no problems with it. The battery life is very good, it picks up everywhere, no dropped calls. Just a great little phone. Camera is very good too. The only reason I'll upgrade is for more gadgets!
Excerpt: i got this phoe about a year ago and it has really held up. it has amazing sound quality for a phone, and has blootooth and all that jazz that you could posibly need in a cell phone. i think this phone is a little arge to fit in my pocket but if you are the type of person that carries a purse or bag with them this phone wil be perfect.
Excerpt: This is a great phone! I had it for 2 years and never had a single problem with it. Screen is great! Super clear. Also, it actually has more features than some of the newer phones that are out. For example, with most new phones out now you can only set one ringtone per person. However, with this phone you can set two ringtones for the same person - one for call and one for text messages. This was a neat feature! I highly recommend it - you won't regret it!
Excerpt: I love my LG VX-8300 cell phone. I have had other cell phones, but this one I can not complain about. My sister has the same one, and she likes hers just as well. I would recommend this phone to all my friends and family.
Excerpt: This is my second LG phone, and I love this brand. It has great features and is pretty durable. The menu is easy to get to, and easy to find options within the phone. The only thing I can say as a negative is that it doesn't come with very many ringtones...I think my phone 10 years ago came with just as many.
