Summary: The phone is indeed unlocked, so you can use it with any GSM carrier. That said, when AT&T contracted these phones from LG (they come with an AT&T logo) they had LG disable the ability to change the network settings from AT&T's MEdia Net. Without going into great technical detail, this means that you can't run a browser, email or other Internet application. One exception is the YP (YellowPages) app, which AT&T does not seem to mind allowing to continue to work.
Summary: The phone was good but I had to go out and pay $10 for another battery because the battery inside the phone was shot. It would be full after only 5 minutes of charging and be empty as soon as I took it off of charge.
Summary: So far I am pleased with the phone. Have experienced a few drop calls. My main issue is that I am unable to receive picture messages. I need help!! Will be calling LG soon. UPDATE Phone is no good. After a couple of months calls are dropped more frequently. No service in almost all the rooms in the house. The end call button is in a peculiar position so calls are cut off by accident. Would not recommend this phone. Unable to return the phone.
Summary: I wanted to like this phone but within a couple of weeks it just starting dieing all the time and well, that really sucks that it was doing that soooo its not a good phone. other then that I just wouldnt buy this again.
Summary: Phone worked great but it turns out it wouldn't charge the battery. Getting a full refund and getting another. LG said it was in for service back in September, so it must have been a refurbished item,
