Summary: We purchased this phone for my husband to use on a solo bicycling trip from Michigan. However, the instruction manual is far too detailed. In addition, the charger failed one week into the trip. This trip did not go through major cities where a new charger could have been purchased. If it hadn't been that at one hotel he stayed at, a guest had left a charger which the desk person gave to him he wouldn't have been able to make any calls.
Summary: Deciption! Verizon does not offer hot spot on this phone. Reason I purchased it. Better off going to Verizon store, and getting phone with all features working. Phone came without battery. Clayton was a dick!
Summary: It's ok for what it is which is one of the cheaper smartphones that you can get with no contract. I got this when I lost my phone and didn't have an upgrade available. It seems to struggle technically when trying to run some apps (turn by turn directions just did not work for example) and frequently run low on storage space because many apps can't be moved to the SD card, but it gets the basics like phone, text and email done if you need it.
Summary: Hi My name is M.W. I purchased a LG VS660 Vortex Cell Phone, Android Touch Screen. the battery does not hold a charge I charged the battery full did not speak nor email or text to much half way through day needed to be recharged. The battery does not look new. I'm also having a problem that the phone pairs with my parrot Bluetooth however when i make a phone call it shuts off.
Excerpt: Overall it was okay but has freezing glitches. It turns to a verizon screen when it glitches for me and i have to pull out the battery and put it back in to get it to work. I cant take pictures anymore on my vortex because it says my "SD Card is damaged" when i dont even have one.. and you dont need one to take pictures! My whole picture memory was erased one day because of thiss. But besides these glitches the vortex has a easy to understand setup and design.
Pros: camera quality, nice setup, easy to understand setup&design, nice build ( not huge but not too small), good apps
Cons: have to turn the camera to take a pic of yourself, glitches and freezes on verizon screen, keyboard too slow, battery time
Summary: I've had this phone for about a year now. I got it for free with a 2 year contract with Verizon. I guess I can't say much about a free Android phone, but still, this phone has its faults. First off, the phone has a pretty good design. It's not too flashy, but still has a nice and slim design. I like the fact it has physical navigation buttons rather than the touch navigation buttons, that are on most other Android Phones. The sound quality is also good.
