I've been through several smart phones while his phone always continued to work

Summary: This phone replaced my husbands former flip cell phone. The first one lasted him for years and only needed replacing because the hinges broke. The battery used in his old one still holds a charge for days. I've been through several smart phones while his phone always continued to work. My phone's batteries would need replacing and his would continue to hold a charge that would easily last the better part of a week.
Summary: I bought this to replace an older LG VX5300. By comparison to the VX5300 this phone has very poor audio quality. The ear piece and speaker phone quality is poor, voice quality of calls is poor, and the ringtone is frequently not loud enough to be heard in noisy settings (even though I have it set to use the loudest ringtone available on the phone). It's amazing that LG can put out two phones that appear so similar but have such a contrast in audio quality.
Summary: For calling the Revere is great basic little phone. Durable and a size just big enough to be handled-pinched between ear and shoulder; small enough to pocket easily. Easy enough message recalling for voice. Texting is OK if you are comfortable with the T9 [abc, efg.} keyboard, multi-pressing. I almost never used the online capabilities with its, approx., 1 inch square screen. Navigation seems impossibly microscopic. The rest of the phone is a spot on, basic phone.

Summary: My elderly mother-in-law has macular degeneration and could no longer see the numbers on her old Samsung phone, so I purchased this Verizon LG phone for her. She can see the buttons on this phone and is once again able to use a cell phone.
Summary: this phone has performed just as advertised...really easy to activate and use. I'd recommend it to anyone not interested in living their whole lives on their phones, but needing all the basic functions.
Summary: Owned this phone for several months (before I knew any better). Only good thing about it is the battery life and service coverage. However, even for the price of just the phone, it's not a good bargain...but for the price of service, it's just a blatant rip-off. (I tried moving to Straight Talk's BYOP plan with this phone, but data wouldn't work due to a lock by Verizon).
