Summary: Owned this phone for several months (before I knew any better). Only good thing about it is the battery life and service coverage. However, even for the price of just the phone, it's not a good bargain...but for the price of service, it's just a blatant rip-off. (I tried moving to Straight Talk's BYOP plan with this phone, but data wouldn't work due to a lock by Verizon).
Summary: My 82 year old mother finally agreed to get a cell phone and wanted something basic as she isn't interested in all the bells and whistles. I recently fell in the back yard breaking bones in my arm...I had my cell phone with me and was able to call for help. This seemed to be the deciding factor to my mother how useful a cell phone can be because she then agreed to let us get her a phone.
Summary: The phone seems OK, but the Verizon service is poor. When I need to make sure I can complete a conversation without a dropped call, I still have to use my land-line phone. This is true for local as well as long-distance calls.
Summary: This phone is for my mom. This is a basic phone. It takes pictures but not great ones. The call quality. battery life and size are great. If you're looking for a basic phone cant do much better than this!
