Nice phone with an abundance of features... good value for an older phone.
10 November 2013
Summary: I really love this phone ... although the speaker leaves something to be desired as regardless of volume it is seriously distorted, if you use a good set of ear phones it's better. That aside it's more than I had expected and would be completely stoked if only the microphone worked so I could use it to make/receive phone calls and use the voice features. I really like the HD screen it's nice and clear even in the sunlight.
I hate making accounts, but this phone really deserves a review

Excerpt: I'm never motivated to bother leaving feedback or reviews - I don't benefit from it, so why go through the trouble? But this phone really deserves a review. First things first - I got a brand new LG Spectrum in September 2012. I formely owned the LG Ally, a QWERTY slider, and I'm a lover of QWERTY sliders. I made the switch because QWERTY sliders just aren't getting the hardware it needs to be useful these days.
Excerpt: Sluggish and slow, cannot wait to dump it but have to wait until Feb or pay full retail for a new smartphone. I read multiple reviews before purchasing last May and should have paid more attention to the reviewer who stated the screen was not very responsive, often requiring two attempts to achieve input.
Pros: It works well as a PHONE
Cons: It works poorly as anything other than a phone
LG Spectrum versus Apple IPHONE and other Smart phones
2 March 2013
Summary: I have had this phone about a year its the first Smart phone that I have gotten after looking at several other options and I feel hands down as good if not better then the Apple Phone in a comparison of the 2 . My sons have had apple phones many times and I didn't find that they were any more sophisticated , both phones have 8 GB camera and the display is a bit different , but access to similar apps .
Summary: Its a good phone but there are some hickups with the phone. It will shut itself down without me even doing anything and the flash for the camera doesn't work well in the dark. However, I haven't had one dropped call and all the apps work fine. The volume is great. The internet works great. Phone is almost like brand new.
Summary: Everything about this phone is sharp: The display, the call clarity, the photos. It currently runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The only con about this phone is battery life. With moderate use, it required us about 2 charge cycles a day. Perhaps if we were lighter users it would be fine!
Value for money,Fast,Dedicated camera button needed,Great screen
29 December 2012
Summary: Like this phone a lot, it is fast and the Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade I feel puts in on par with many other phones out there. The camera is a bit finicky but after a few tries it is almost better than my point and shoot camera even in the dark. I love the big bright screen and the super slim design. I wish it had a dedicated camera button though and the speaker for when your on calls could be a little bit louder.
Summary: Bought this phone when I broke my (second) Samsung Stratosphere. So far, it seems like a serious upgrade. The one I bought had an extended battery, which I highly recommend. Smartphones burn through batteries so fast, and this made a huge difference. I can now make it through the whole day without charging it. The downside: the extra battery IS bulky, and does make the phone somewhat awkward to store.
Best VZW LTE phone. Best display of any VZW phone.

Summary: This is NOT super AMOLED and therefore will NOT screen burn like all the Samsung phones. LCD does not have screen burn in issues, but all the AMOLED devices will have permanent screen burn in issues.
Pros: Large 4.5 inch beautiful LCD screen, easy to root, light.
Cons: USB port on top, a little laggy, very small development (root) community,
