Excerpt: It freezes up, overheats, then the screen will be all messed up. Flashing, jumping random colors, and black outs. Had it in my pocket one day working on an engine and I don't know how but the screen cracked and now I can't do nothing with it. And it's just a real little small crack. Plus the battery will decided on how it wants to be. One day it's awesome, next day it's s**tty.
This is the best phone if you are on VZW and want Stock Android.
4 November 2013
Summary: This is probably the best phone if you are a fan of Stock Android and are on Verizon (no Nexus 5). This phone has NFS and wireless charging, making it one of the best value phones on the market. Many others are more expensive, but lack these critical features. It has normal battery life, nothing exceptional, a great screen and camera as do most smartphones these days. It is a large screen, but relatively thin and light.
Summary: I HATE HATE HATE my phone. About once a week, without warning, and without any action on my part, it resets several settings (like wallpaper, for example) back to the factory reset. Its sound quality is so poor that people are constantly telling me that they cannot hear me. It drops about 1 out of every four calls. Websites freeze up or respond incorrectly or extremely sluggishly. It cannot play any flash videos.
Summary: I have had this phone for about a year and I really like it. It's been extremely reliable and easy to use. The camera is great!! I would like to customize the home pages a little more but they're pretty easy. The features can be a little clumsy to use but it's just a matter of really learning to use your phone and know its limits. Overall I am really happy and plan to keep this phone for quite some time.
Pros: + IPS HD screen is awesome, pure brightness and clarity is truly a marvel + Voice quality excellent + Phone is fast and responsive. + Camera snaps quick and clear pictures/video. + Removable Battery, Textured grip on the back
Cons: - MTP file transferring is slow - Comes with bloatware (as pretty much all do)
Summary: I got the LG Spectrum 2 from Verizon yesterday. The cost was Free with a 2 year upgrade. This is like the 4th Android phone that I have had, plus a number of Iphones. I have this phone because the last one which was a Motorola Razr Maxx started having issues.I have had good Android phones, starting from ICS to JB.
Pros: + IPS HD screen is awesome, pure brightness and clarity is truly a marvel, + Voice quality excellent, + Phone is fast and responsive., + Camera snaps quick and clear pictures/video., + Removable Battery, Textured grip on the back
Cons: - MTP file transferring is slow, - Comes with bloatware (as pretty much all do)
Excerpt: I normally do not consider LG when purchasing devices, but I obtained this one from a friend who could not use it for business (compatibility with a credit card reader). I traded a Motorola RAZR Maxx for this phone and I have not regretted it!
Pros: Great battery (averaging 15 hours!), Vibrant display, Great camera & camcorder, Fits good in my hands, GPS locks quickly
