Excerpt: The LG CU720 is performance plus in mobile phones. Ready for streaming media via RSS and a variety of outlets like HBO mobile. This slide phone has just about everything a mobile phone user could want. It accesses most of the media features through a contract with AT&T, but you don't have to sign up for a plan in order to buy it. There is a huge discount from big box stores if you agree to an AT&T plan. The cost is $179 with an AT&T plan.
Excerpt: LG's CU720 is one of a number of cell phones the company markets under the Shine model umbrella. This particular Shine slider has been built for AT&T and its HSDPA 3G network. In our tests of the phone we find it to be a real winner.
Conclusion: So, how well does the Shine…uh…..shine? Pretty well actually but it is apparent that this is meant to be a simple and stylish handset. It definitely looks great and feels solid both closed and opened, packs plenty of online applications to make use of its 3G capabilities, has a great camera, and strong performance to top it all off. Get past its small keys and slightly odd layout and it really is a good handset.
Pros: Very stylish design, Plenty of applications to use on the go, 2MP camera with great quality
Cons: Cramped keypad with small buttons, Location of call and hang-up buttons, Main menu has poor organization, Fields in internet browser overlap
