Better Phones out there
9 September 2012
Excerpt: When I intially purchased this cell phone (ok, got it free with my phone plan...), I thought it was cute & stylish. I loved the full QWERTY keyboard, along with all of the smileys that are built into the phone. But, as I began really using it, all of the features that aren't available really started to become apparent. Unfortunately, it was too late to exchange the phone. Call quality is fair to average.
Excerpt: The Lg Rumor 2 is a satisfactory cell phone in my opinion. It gets the job done, but it doesn't exceed any expectations of mine. It has a relatively good screen thats easy to see, read from, take and view pictures with. I don't particularly care for the styles and backgrounds that the phone supplies. The color schemes are not very attractive either.
Summary: I purchased this phone because I bought a car with Uconnect and it was on the approved list of phones compatible with the system. Unfortunately, whether it's the phone or the network, it does not work with Uconnect. It will disconnect a call within 27 sec. and constantly restart the phone. Unless you buy a micro SDHC card, forget a selection of ringtones, I think there are 3 on the phone, all which sound terrible. Even the tones (also 3) bite and I'm not picky.
Summary: This was my first phone. I did like it a lot. It had texting, internet, a camera, great service plan, no dropped calls, and decent games. Then one day it froze on me and that was it. I tried taking the battery out and turning it on again. The first screen came on (HELLO) and just started flashing. I called VM customer service to help. We tried EVERYTHING to revive it. Nothing worked.
Summary: I made the mistake of buying this phone twice. I really liked the phone. The keyboard is great, easy to use and not too tiny. The screen good too but i had two major problems with this phone: 1) you cannot send picture messages from this phone. it will act like it is sending and then after a while it will give you a fail to send error message. 2) Using the notepad causes this phone to slow down drastically and eventually brick .
Summary: **6 months plus later This phone went downhill dramatically by the 6 month point. It locks up repeatedly and has to be restarted multiple times per day. It's probably a good phone for people who do minimal web surfing, if that's not you get something a little more robust. I'm waiting for black friday to see if I can get a good deal on an Evo, if not I'll buy one anyway. I do not recommend this phone though overall I'm still happy with Virgin.
Excerpt: This Is a horrible phone. I have had it for just over 2 weeks and now I cannot use the "up" Button ( ^ ) and it will randomly start scrolling up. I have kept the phone in good use, and I mean it has only been 2 weeks But over all the phone was nice. but the software sucks.
Summary: An adequate phone from a barely adequate carrier. I have used it for over a year and it has continued to be enough to get by without being great. I bought this phone as a step up from 10 cents a minute NET10. Some features are as advertised, others are not. The alleged data service is horrible. The top positives: 1) The slide-out QWERTY keyboard is awesome. Enough said! 2) Bluetooth. I have tried several devices. All worked.
Excerpt: okay so i was 11 years old when i got it, first phone pretty damn impressed, until i turned 13 at my party some kids steped on it, it was still good, but I cant send picture msgs without it turning off, i like the keyboard and the chat view, its a good phone, but for someone that is welling to spend some dough 0n a good and nice phone, i would NOT recommend this piece of garbage, to something that is techinoal with phones :)
Pros: key board is great,, chat view, EASY TO USE!
Cons: SLOW, ugly in a way, the case things keep falling off
Pros: *4 line Qwerty keyboard made texting super fast *Nice size phone, not too big or too small *Changeable back plate *Sprint gave me a free data plan because this phone connected to the internet every time I tried to send picture mail (even though my plan sa
Cons: *After 16 months the spring that holds the phone open and closed broke and fell out *after 22 months the battery life crashed, meaning I was charging it 2 or 3 times a day *after 23 months it stopped taking a charge, had to wiggle the charger around and t
