Excerpt: This is a review of an LG Rumor 2 on the Bell network. I have been using this phone over the last six months and am not impressed with it. It’s basically everything you would expect from a budget phone. Firstly, the camera is garbage.
Excerpt: The LG Rumor has always been a very popular phone, and available under a few different model names (by various companies) it has become one of the most widely purchased texting/media phones available.
best phone for those grandfathered into the $25 plan
28 July 2014
Summary: I am grandfathered into the Virgin Mobile $25 plan, which means I have limited phone choices. I've had four cell phones with Virgin Mobile (LG Rumor Touch, LG Optimus S Slider, Motorola Triumph, and this one) and this is the best. Here's how it compares to the others: LG Rumor Touch: My first phone and I used it for years! While it took forever to access the internet, but it had a great battery life.
Summary: If I could give this phone 100 stars I would. This was my first smartphone I guess you could call it at the time. I loved it had it for a few yrs before I upgraded. It keyboard was easy to use once you got use it to it.
Summary: Bought this in 2011, still works fine. Battery life is not that great so get one of those free apps that helps you manage battery life. By default the phone battery lasts 1 day, 1.5 days at best. Occasional black-screen, usually happens when it comes in contact with water, easily fixed by taking battery out and putting it back in. Call quality varies, mostly decent. Locked into the $25 per month plan, saved a ton of money over the 3 years. One of my best purchases, ever.
Summary: Needed a cheap back up phone for my son. Im becoming very disillusioned by Virgin Mobile and am about to quit their company after 5 years. If customer service doesnt pick up, Im going else where. Im sure SPRINT took over which I had so many problems with them I couldnt stand them.
