  • Summary: Phone itself is great. Delivery was earlier than estimated. However phone only stays charged for about an hour before going dead. I need to purchase a new battery!

Not as good as Rumor Reflex

Laura Kay Johnson, Amazon
19 May 2014
  • Summary: I bought this phone used from Amazon so I didn't have to renew my contract after my Rumor Reflex had a meltdown. It serves its purpose, but if you want a basic phone and text a lot, I recommend the Rumor Reflex instead.

  • Summary: Phone is ok for the price I paid. It is very difficult to maneuver the different screens-- not convenient. It's cute, though.

Good phone, not outstanding..

  • Excerpt: I purchased this as my 3rd phone about 7 months ago. I enjoy the touchscreen because it works fairly well. The camera is good but blurs sometimes unless you hold it 100% straight. The internet is pretty good on this phone and works well. Texting/calling is great and works fantastic. There are not many features on this phone, which is disapaointing. It gets the job done as a phone that works well, but is nothing fancy, like an android phone.

LG Rumor Touch is okay.

  • Excerpt: I bought the LG Rumor Touch Cell Phone six months ago.  I'm happy with it. First let me say that I have Virgin Mobile service with this phone, so it actually was sold to me through Virgin Mobile, and it has Virgin Mobile as a brand on the front.  So a few aspects of this review may be different if you are buying through/planning to use a different service.  But I'll make a note of those. I love the look of this phone.

Cool but has some quirks

  • Excerpt: Today I am reviewing my new cell phone, the LG Rumor Touch.  For the most part, I like this phone.  I needed something other than my classic, flip phone (which was also an awesome LG) to text when I started dating my boyfriend.  It was his preferred way to communicate.  After a few months of hardcore texting, my keypad started to malfunction.

  • Excerpt: I got this phone over a year ago and actually I'm pretty much satisfied with it. Unfortunately the company that I'm with there reception is bad in this area so I suffer from allot of dropped calls. However it may have to be pertaining to software related since most of the phones come out with an internet type service anyway.

Phone is OK, but Not Great.

  • Excerpt: I have had this phone for about a year now.  I started off being very satisfied with it, but after a while, it started acting funny.  It turns off occasionally when I am sliding it shut.  It doesn't happen too often, but I would like it if it didn't happen at all.  The internet also doesn't always work, but of course that could be the provider as well. Onto the good parts of the phone... The features are pretty good.

The LG Rumor Touch is OK...

  • Excerpt: The LG Rumor Touch is OK... but it definitely has some issues. I LOVE being able to connect to Facebook with my phone, but so often my cell provider's servers are busy, especially on Saturday nights. The only two touch-screen devices I own are this cell phone and an iPod. The touch screen is not as sensitive to the touch as an iPod Touch/iPhone. You have to press pretty hard to get it to register (it's easier if you have fingernails).
