Summary: The LG Rumor Touch is a good option for pay-as-you-go cell phone users because it comes with many advanced features and superior calling and messaging options. The phone's large size and operating system are limiting factors, but not ones that get in the way of keeping in touch or listening to music and occasionally enjoying web content.
Pros: This phone makes loud, clear calls and comes with superior messaging features.
Cons: This LG Rumor Touch is heavy, has a short battery life and lacks Wi-Fi capability.
Conclusion: The LG Rumor Touch is just a very underwhelming phone overall, it’s a phone that I would not be happy with at all if I was to own it. The screen is big yes, but the interface and responsiveness of the touchscreen are just not that good. The interface is just not very finger friendly, and the responsiveness of the screen isn’t that great either. It’s a phone that wants to be smart, but just isn’t really.
Pros: Nice, well made phone, Full keyboard, Decent battery life
Cons: Poor picture quality, Very glossy screen, not good in bright light, Interface is no finger-friendly, Call quality was spotty, Fairly frustrating experience navigating the phone, Touchscreen isn’t as responsive as it should be
Conclusion: The Rumor Touch proved to be a warrior in our performance testing . Callers said we sounded very clear, possibly a bit muffled but we had a head cold while trying it out which could easily explain that. On our end we had no problem hearing them and their voice sounded plenty loud and realistic. They rated us an 8.5/10, we may even give it a 9 on our end. Battery life was equally stellar. It is rated at 7 hours of talk time, quite a feat for a CDMA device especially...
Pros: Above average call quality and great battery life, Good build quality, Usable interface tweaks, More multimedia options than previous Rumor devices
Cons: Touchscreen input is not always acted upon, Keyboard is usable, but could be better, Interface and front key layout take a bit of getting used to
