I do not like the phone

Shiy, Amazon
17 December 2014
  • Summary: I am seeking to purchase the phone again simply because I want a basic phone with sprint carrier and sprint only gives you 2 options for basic phones and a physical keyboard. I do not like the phone....freezes alot and decides not to allow incoming messages very often.

hate the phone

monet, LG Electronics Ratings and Reviews
10 December 2014
  • Summary: This is the worst phone ever. When I first got it, it worked for a while but a couple days later it would freeze up then go off. When I would try to use the phone, it would not bring up the page to "unlock" so the page would stay up for a second and then go blank. I have to turn fone off and on to get it to work. There are a lot of other features that I don't like.

No!

Darnisha Brown, Amazon

  • Summary: Ordered this for my mom for when she was on boost mobile and she completely hated it. She shipped it back the day after she bought the phone. She only used it for one day.

it's okay, but....

tarmacrider, lg.com
29 December 2013
  • Summary: since I use my phone for calls and calendar reminders only, I can't complain about the rumor, but whoever designed the slot machine wheel to select appt. times really designed a non-user friendly part. it's virtually impossible to set the time of an appt. my old moto Q9c was so user- friendly in this regard. but again, it's a minor complaint. I will say the keyboard is nice-easy to use and apply.

Phone doesn't work after only 5 months of lite use

bert, lg.com
27 November 2013
  • Summary: I have used an old "flip phone" for years now. It just won't die. But it is inconvenient for texting. So I figured I'd update. The touch screen on the Rumor is not sensitive to touch, must try numerous times to unlock screen. The buttons on the keyboard are too small. I have small hands and it's hard to press only one button. The 'space' button started working only part time after about 2 months. I send fewer than 150 texts per month.

Disappointing

SeaWA, Amazon
2 September 2013
  • Summary: I've had the phone for 10 months and am considering replacing it as it can be such a pain. Sometimes calls don't hang up. Sometimes it calls the last caller for no apparent reason. The touchscreen can be unresponsive. The keypad can be activated if your ear comes in contact with the touchscreen during a call. Poor call quality (I've heard my own voice message on the other end). Lots of little annoyances that add up to disappointment. Not recommended.

Touch Screen is terrible

Jim in Ohio, LG Electronics Ratings and Reviews
23 June 2013
  • Summary: The actual phone part works fine but don't try to use this phone for anything beyond calls. The touchscreen really doesn't even work so the internet is practically useless and sending a text message is dicey since you have a hard time selecting the person you want to send it to due to the useless touchscreen. I thought the Rumor Touch was a good phone but this one is horrible.

misleading

Carolyn Parcheta, Amazon
11 April 2013
  • Summary: I actually liked the phone a lot, but i did not realize that Boost mobile is incompatible with sprint. it was a shame to have to send it back. I found this phone on a search for sprint compatible phones... so i felt the advertisement was misleading.
