This is a great starter phone. Provided you have a micro-SD card.

  • Summary: **UPDATE** So I got kind of frustrated after running out of internal memory a few too many times, and found a website that told me if I updated the firmware, it would give me the ability to delete some (but not all) of the preloaded features. I did this and it worked. I still don't really have enough room for apps in the internal memory, but at least I'm not getting a daily message about running out of space! I suggest people try this if this is their problem too!

  • Summary: Pros: Its a great phone and I added to an existing plan without adding a data package. Phone works fine with Wifi and Bluetooth. Cons: To get or send photos via MMS you must turn on the phones data ( you can't use Wifi for that ).

I hate this stupid phone.

  • Summary: Cons: If you like things that freeze constantly buy a box of freeze pops and save some money. If you want something that resets all the time bash your head in and get a memory disorder because it would be less frustrating than this phone. Pros: It's sort of like time traveling because you're text messaging in the future while your phone is typing words from 30 seconds ago.

LG Phoenix P505

  • Summary: I ordered this phone for my 15 yo who has lost 3 phones this year!!! I was skeptical at first ordering a phone from amazon. (Don't get me wrong I order very often from amazon) shipping was fast and even after I had a delivery issue with local post office seller was very quick to try and help. My son is very happy to have a non ancient phone so he can download his apps and give his father back his crackberry. work for the meantime until upgrade next year.

  • Summary: My son and I bought one for each of us.......had one before lasted 6 years with no problems ever, dropped it plenty of times, in the water too! Still no problems. I ended up dropping it in a fire, and that ended the phone! That is what made my decision to get it again, love it! Haven't had any problems with my new one either!

Worth the out-of-pocket for a beginner.

  • Summary: A decent little pocket phone even with 2.1.4. Can use CyanMod 4.1.2 to improve battery life. To address the battery issue, if you turn off Data, WiFi and Global Positioning when not in use, the phone goes A LONG way without needing a charge. These services will drain the phone faster than a body builder on steroids. A good phone out-of-box, a better phone with Cyanogen.
