  • Summary: Overall the LG Optimus T  is a very nice phone. You get a lot of bang for your buck on this one. It performs well, has good battery life, and is a good size for daily use. I think LG hit the sweet spot of functionality and price with this device.

LG Optimus T

LAPTOP Magazine
2 December 2010
  • Summary: Quite well equipped for a smart phone this affordable, the LG Optimus T is a great choice for bargain hunters. Its low price of $29 (free for the black version), solid design, and ease of use will appeal to smart phone newbies. The biggest competitor to the Optimus T in this price range right now is the very similar Optimus S on Sprint, which offers Sprint ID packs for customizing the phone but lacks Wi-Fi calling.
  • Pros: Attractive design, Very affordable, Android 2.2 software, Good battery life, Mobile hotspot and tethering abilities, Wi-Fi calling
  • Cons: Processor not very fast, Small low resolution display, Mediocre camera without flash

LG Optimus T

MobileTechReview.com
29 October 2010
  • Conclusion: If money is a scarce commodity and you want an Android smartphone, the LG Optimus is a great buy. It's no high end superphone, but it does have a decent HVGA touch screen, the latest Android OS, good performance and a solid build. And the Optimus is a definite step up from the T-Mobile Comet.
  • Pros: Super-affordable Android smartphone with a solid build.
  • Cons: This is no Android superphone and the specs are mid-range, and that's actually fine for the price.

LG Optimus T

CNET
11 February 2010
  • Summary: The LG Optimus T is one of the best entry-level smartphones you can buy, with a feature set that is on par with devices more than twice its price.
  • Cons: The LG Optimus T has a slower processor and lower resolution display when compared with higher-end smartphones. There's no LED flash, and it doesn't have HD video capture. Flash 10.1 is not available with the Optimus T's browser even though Android 2.2 technically supports it.
