"LG voided my warranty due to moisture ingress when the phone never got close to moisture."
10 April 2013
Summary: Not impressed with this phone or LG's customer service.
Pros: As an amateurish user of smart phones I found moving about the phones varying facilities OK. I liked its size, weight and the price was reasonable.
Cons: Incoming calls did not ring enough before ringing out and I couldn't find a setting to increase the no. of rings. I managed to answer ~ 1 in 5 incoming calls. Despite setting the volume as high as I could incoming texts could not be heard against normal back ground noise. The phone clearly lacked IPX5/7 Water Resistance, which even cheaper phones should have.
Summary: I've had the LG Optimus Spirit for a week now. It is an overall well packaged Android phone with all the features you'd expect, all good there. However! be aware that this phone sucks the battery power like you wouldn't believe. I explained the problem to a Telstra phone dealer who advised me to turn off all unrequired apps when not in use... have been doing that but even when you turn off all but the essentials, it still chews up the power at lightening fast speed.
