LG Optimus L5 II Review
26 June 2013
Excerpt: LG Optimus L5 II is yet another phone after LG Optimus L5. The first impression of the phone is not I impressed much with look. The silver look on the back does not give the handset attractive look but rest of the phone has a glossy look especially at the front. Its 4.0-inch IPS LCD Capacitive Di ...
Summary: This mobile is okay only if you want to call or text, memory is awful in terms of apps, have to delete twitter for snapchat, and vice-versa, for example. There are so many other useless apps that can't be uninstalled such as Maps, Google Books, talk, voice recorder, polaris viewer, place, latitude etc. and also impossible to move apps onto a memory card and only few apps can be move into 'internal memory'.
Summary: Keeps locking up. if more the one app is running, it keeps sending you back to the homescreen. And even the homescreen and the menu takes about a minute to load. Also if you receive a call while the battery is low, it simply will not let you answer. My LG cookie was of better quality then this piece of garbage.
Summary: Had to buy a 'Cheap' sim free smartphone to use in Italy, I saw this one and thought it looked very nice and a good size, bigger than the iPhone. Using the LG worldwide website I upgraded to Jelly Bean 4.2 and I absolutely love this phone, even more than the Sony Xperia Z that I had previously.
Summary: This is my first smartphone and so far I have no regrets at all, since it performs well enough for me. It has a decent photo quality (what you would expect for a "low-range" smartphone), the screen resolution is not too sparse imo(as I read in some reviews), it's denser enough to look at photos and read. The processing speed is not perfect - there is no problem with simple operations and if it does stutter it is not for too long.
Summary: I bought this for my wife, I have a higher model which I had been using for 6 months before. The LG is an exceptional phone and far cheaper than its alternatives. One thing that is bad is the HD video and sound which is awful, try using it at a pop concert and you will find out how bad it is.
