LG Optimus L1 II Dual Review

Phone Arena
17 February 2014
  • Conclusion: The LG Optimus L1 II price gravitates around $100 off contract with slight differences across markets, but it’s clearly at the bottom of Android’s pricing tiers. You can get even lower prices, but those would be for phones from lesser known brands from China that lack the support and credibility of a company like LG. Overall, we can safely say that the LG L1 II is a nice little phone that works fine for the most part.
  • Pros: Runs surprisingly smoothly, Good call quality, LG’s Optimus skin is (in most part) nicely optimized for such a small screen, Compact size makes it perfect for single-handed use
  • Cons: Feels overpriced, competition has phones with better value for the money, The 3” display is too small for an enjoyable experience, Browsing is frustratingly slow, Camera is not very good at capturing image stills, Display viewing angles are horrible, Buttons are not very convenient, lock key is awkwardly placed on top
