Overall an ok phone for medium users

JennCrowe, lg.com

  • Summary: When I first got this phone I was in love with it. The screen was way bigger than my previous phone, the processor was faster, the storage was vastly improved. It quickly became my new favorite toy, and best phone I had owned.

"Start by saying, I love the speed and how its so slim."

pictureitcac, CNET
14 October 2013
  • Pros: Speed, programs, slim, graphics, display, etc.
  • Cons: The gorilla glass on the back is a terrible idea and I've only owned mine less than a year and it has cracked twice. After the first time, I purchased a hard case that is rubberized on the outside, but somehow it managed to crack again.

Great phone, but not the greatest.

billya742, lg.com
25 June 2013
  • Summary: While this is an extremely fast phone it's not the best. I have had many problems with mine. First of all, after a long days use of the phone, the standard LG keyboard starts to lag a lot! It can be very hard to text with at night. Also, for some odd reason, the original settings app on my phone has stopped working. I haven't done anything that would put my phone at risk but for for some reason, it has stopped.

Good Hardware with outdated software

  • Summary: This phone is good on the hardware but the one that I got still runs Android 4.0 which is a bit laggy. Gets a bit heated up with making VoIP Calls.

"Not bad. Replaced my 3D as well but went to a Note II."

c_b_z85, CNET
20 April 2013
  • Pros: Brilliant HD screen is very impressive, body is very sleek and lightweight, zippy quad-core processor allows most apps to run flawlessly, camera resolution is almost comparable to my $650 16mp PNS camera, and the price (with a deal) is excellent!
  • Cons: Battery runs down rather quickly, battery/power saver option causes some apps/games to bog down, without battery/power saver option on NFS: MW did not run too smooth, phone receiver speaker could allow for crisper calls as could the speakerphone.

  • Summary: Phone is easy to navigate and big screen makes everything easy to see but when online you can literally see the battery life dropping.
