There are better phones

  • Summary: I have had this phone for several months now. The 13 megapixel camera does not take sharp pictures. The 8 megapixel camera on my last phone took far sharper pictures. I like that this phone has a removable battery. I don't like that LG doesn't seem to have any plans for updating the software on the phone despite it being within its' first year of release.

beautiful screen, but not much else

roosterly9, Wireless AT&T

  • Summary: I was pretty happy with this phone until it's flaws started wearing me down. I had Lumia window phone before, and wanted to try Android. Window was by far easier and more intuitive to operate, but had less apps. what annoys me about this phone is that by holding on to the phone you end up pressing on volume buttons and lower the volume, and next thing you know is that you missed your phone calls as you do not hear the phone ring, the screen is big and beautiful, and...
  • Pros: display , faily quick internet response
  • Cons: position of controls , video

Great but Not so Great

  • Summary: Your average android operating system with bright display and the tv remote function is very nice too. Thought having a phone with a bigger screen would be nice. unfortunately with the bigger screen, there is no flex to it at all and the first time it was dropped, the screen completely shattered on it. very thin and with the large phone size, very easy to break.... oh and no otter box available for it either. I have met several people with the same problem....
  • Pros: features , functionality
  • Cons: breaks easy , large display drains battery fast

device specs cleverly written, features, usability and battery life poor

  • Summary: specifications say internal memory upto 32GB, but at&t sends with only 23GB and with no SD card, but says to install SD card before activating. after using samsung galaxy, the features, usability and battery life are really poor. specifications say internal memory upto 32GB, but at&t sends with only 23GB and with no SD card, but says to install SD card before activating. after using samsung galaxy, the features, usability and battery life are really poor.

Disappointing

  • Summary: I thought getting over the size would be the worse thing, but the GPS seemed to have a lot of problems. Half the time it wouldn't find me. The swipe texting put in words that I didn't even touch the letters for and often didn't find my word at all. At the default basic browser on the phone kept trying to reload the home page over and over wasting data usage. Overall I would steer clear of LG.

Owned 3 and Audio Quality is Below Horrible

systemphantom, lg.com
15 September 2013
  • Summary: Where do i start with this. Well every time you make a phone call there is a high pitch sound that comes through the speaker, kinda like the sound when an old CRT TV is warming up the picture tube. Not only that there is a constant low bass clicking sound that comes through the back speaker when on speaker phone, AND if you like listening to music on your phone don't because there are constant high pitch clicks that come through when to much treble is being fed through...

NO OTTERBOX

freetb, Wireless AT&T
21 August 2013
  • Summary: Don't buy this phone until an Otterbox for it is on the market. I owned the phone for over a month. I was very pleased with it but I had searched high and low for proper protection for it (including a belt holster). Then it fell out of my pocket while I was entering my car and it hit the car door and slide under the seat. I did not think it would have been damaged. I was wrong. The front glass shattered like a cheap mirror.
  • Pros: impressive layout.
  • Cons: fragile. bulky. no otterbox.

Hackbraten, Amazon
28 August 2013
  • Summary: Da ich Technik-begeistert bin, habe ich schon zirka 50 Mobiltelefone besessen.
