Summary: I would give it one star but that seems a bit harsh for an inexpensive phone. I am also able to get this phone for just $30 per month through T-moble which is great. I dislike this phone greatly because there is no room on this phone!!! After removing as much junk as possible I can fit my Gmail, Facebook, Amazon Music, & Amazon Kindle. If I try to take any photos, the warnings start popping up that I'm running out of working memory. Forget any fun apps.
Summary: I've had this phone for some time now and I really want a different phone. It has nearly no memory at all so I can't hardly get any apps and when I do delete one and then download a different one or redownload it it says insufficient memory and since u can put any on an SD card that's all u get and after a small 2 ft. Drop to some small rocks the entire screen is shattered.
Summary: This phone has 1GB of storage. and it is incredibly difficult (to almost impossible to move apps to your SD card. I would not have bought this phone if I knew I would always be out of storage. On the positive side it is a decent smartphone with all the trappings but unfortunately you aren't able to use it much because of the storage issue.
Summary: The size and battery life on this phone are incredible. As others have noted, it's the 1GB internal memory that's the huge shortcoming. You'd be amazed at how quickly 1GB fills up. After installing a couple of apps, you're finished. This makes the F3 barely any better than an old "dumb" phone. I liked this phone otherwise, but I've found the memory limitation to be too much of a limitation.
Summary: I love this version of Android, but the phone! Screen and sound are ok, battery is pretty decent. Reception is poor. It's the storage issue! When I read reviews 8 months ago, I saw the trend of poor app storage. I figured it wouldn't be a big deal because I only use a few extra apps - facebook, kindle, pintrest, and one flash game. All my pictures and music are stored on an extra card. But now I can no longer update ANYTHING because there is no more storage.
Summary: it is a nice phone but over all for people that like to have a tone of apps on there phones...... its sucks. There is no way to save apps to SD card so it does not take long for it to fill up and every time you go to get an app or update one it will say low storage cannot install. If you are just a texter phone and talking its great for basics, but if you like alot of apps, THIS IS NOT THE PHONE FOR YOU.
Summary: Bad IMEI! Buyer beware. I purchased this new LG F3 (MetroPCS) via Amazon and it looked so nice...until I went to activate with MetroPCS....they said no way and wouldn't give a reason. Then I checked online with T-Mobile (since they are associated with MetroPCS) and when I entered in the IMEI it came up as "reported lost". I may try a local MetroPCS store but I'll probably send it back to Amazon. Too bad there is no way to check the IMEI "before" you buy.
Summary: I wanted to love this phone. The physical qwerty keyboard is terrific, and that's why I bought this phone. Everything else works fine, although the software is a bit old at this point (4.1.2, whereas Google is up to 4.4.2). But the crippling problem with this phone is insufficient internal storage. It is impossible to install all the apps that you want on this phone.
Summary: I'm a pretty simple guy when it comes to phones, but this one couldn't even handle my simple set-up -- a few social media apps and maybe 3 more various sports ones. Everything seems great, it's got a nice layout and initially hums along. But the memory is limited and I've now twice had to get it replaced. The first time I continually got error messages that kicked me out of any apps.
