Excellent phone for the price!

Amazon Customer "corgi's rule", Amazon
3 June 2014
  • Summary: First I have to admit that I have owned cell phones since they have first come out so you know I am up there in years but I'm a tech junkie to this day! My last cell may have been my worst, the Samsung Galaxy S3. The battery was shot within a year. I had many nicer phones before that but that was my first one when I switched to prepaid service. BTW, I will never go back to contracts again! Why should you when you get the same service and connectivity with prepaid?

Good Verizon 3G Phone With Limited App Storage

Alan Houston, Amazon
31 May 2014
  • Summary: The Exceed 2 is a good option for Verizon customers with a big 4.5 inch screen in a light compact body. It has the new Android Kitkat software few low cost phones have. The Exceed 2 is locked to Verizon. A slightly different version, the LG L70, is available to MetroPcs customers. The Exceed 2 is only 3G, not 4G, which could limit its ability to stream videos unless you are connected to wifi. The 3G speeds are fast enough to stream Pandora Radio.

A Very Good Phone - Limited Apps Storage & Slow 3G

AlanHouston, lg.com
8 May 2014
  • Summary: The LG Optimus Exceed 2 is a really good entry level phone held back by two flaws. First, has 3G data speeds only. In 2014, even entry level phones have access to 4G data speeds. Second, even if you add a 32gb micro SD memory card, you are limited to a tiny 1GB of internal memory for apps and games.

Decent Phone

Crys, lg.com
7 May 2014
  • Summary: This phone was what I was looking for at first. However, the new Kit Kat version of Android and LG phones (at least the lower end phones) won't allow the device to read or write to a 128gb micro SD card. To make sure this was the case, I tried the 128gb micro SD card in the LG Optimus Exceed 1 & 2 and it did not read. The phones kept saying the SD card was blank.

Great Low Cost Device

flapjackashley, lg.com
27 April 2014
  • Summary: This is a wonderful option for those looking for a low cost Android device. Powered by Android 4.4 (KitKat), the phone is very fast with its dual core processor and has excellent battery life that will last all day with normal usage. The screen is bright and colorful, with Corning Gorilla Glass for durability. The only thing this lacks is a front facing camera. But overall, very highly recommended.
