Still good, but 8 GB is not really enough space anymore.

Crumby "Reviews", Amazon
9 February 2015
  • Summary: This is a rock solid phone in my opinion. It's worked well for me for 2 years now. I still don't have plans to upgrade. My only complaint is that the 8GB space limit is very restricting. I have to be careful about how many pictures or videos I take.

Average phone.

  • Excerpt: I found the Nexus 4 to be a good smartphone for about 1 year or so. After that, it'll start showing its age: battery won't hold up anymore, the camera will have poor performance, you'll start experiencing overheating issues and if you don't use a case, expect some scratches.
  • Pros: Price, Pure Android, Guaranteed updates, Good performance, Looks good
  • Cons: Camera, No SD slot, Battery, Fragile, Side button breaks easily, Overheating issues, Speakers

Good phone overall but screen broke after 1.5 yrs

D24, LG Electronics Ratings and Reviews
31 October 2014
  • Summary: Pros: great features for the price; feels nice holding it in my hand. Cons: after about 1.5 years of gentle use half of screen became unresponsive (no dropping or water damage, phone gently used in bumper) - it turned out to be a common problem for this model, however the initial warranty was over...
  • Pros: easy to use, Features/Settings

I like it, was the best deal at the time

Jesse L., Amazon
3 August 2014
  • Summary: I like it, was the best deal at the time, probably better to just by the nexus 5 now direct from google, or do what I'm going to do and get the s5 or note 3 namely because the battery get taxed pretty easily on this one. some times I only get a couple hours with heavy usage.

Compared to all others Google is first to update and lasts, Love android!

  • Summary: My husband and I both have nexus phones by Google and find that the interface is simple and much more than an apple could offer. It has cloud storage and chrome which remembers all info for you. Terrific and worthy of many praises! I highly recommend!

Great phone!

David, Amazon
28 February 2014
  • Summary: Great phone at a great price! Even if you surf all day you don't need more than this phone for internet surfing and texting. The lack of 4g seemed irrelevant on AT&T and it is a pleasure to work with. Camera needs some improvement though at night.

Elegant design, great performance, but poor camera

osikiri, Phone Arena
27 December 2013
  • Excerpt: Nexus 4 has the elegant design same as the predecessors thanks to Google had the OEM under its control, and paired with pure Android which is most reliable and efficient in Android world. Its Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core chip still rocks in performance, and 2GB of RAM is more than sufficient.
  • Pros: Elegant design which you can't find among lots of conventional electronics makers' Android phones., Pure Android experience from Google, High quality display, Sufficient performance & processing power
  • Cons: Poor photo quality, Fragile, slippery back cover, Insufficient battery life
