Summary: We needed a simple to use phone for an 11 year old who is not that savvy yet with cells, and this fit the bill. She primarily uses the text feature and the keyboard makes this a breeze for her. It was a bonus that she could take photos. This phone was cost efficient which is important to us as we have been through several phones with our older child. It is very easy to put the sim card in for activation. The battery life is not the best, but is comparable to others.
Summary: Wish the phone was full touch, as well it is rather bulky and has a small screen. It is pretty decent nonetheless for the price I paid for it. All was pretty much expected for a non-smart phone.
Summary: I have been using LG Neons for several years now. I like most everything about this phone. There is a glare problem when texting, but knowing the keypad helps. The Neon is lightweight and fairly simple to use. I would purchase another one should something happen to this one.
Summary: The only reason I didn't give this a 5 for overall rating is that it is not a touch screen. But all the other features make up for that. I purchased this phone for the slider keypad and it's awesome blue color. Highly recommend if your okay without a touch screen. Very nice phone for the price!
Summary: Being this phone was used, it has a minor scratch on the screen...very insignificant, as far as I'm concerned. The price and quality of this phone is sufficient. I'm very pleased. I love that it has a qwerty keyboard...having the touchscreen is a plus...more than I expected. I'm very happy.
A NICE SIMPLE, ATTRACTIVE, EASY FUNCTIONAL PHONE , LIKE

Summary: Not a bad Phone, Had a few days now,had to replace a smartphone for something not requiring data plan. Its light weight and small for a slider. easy to set up and easy to use. Has alot of features if you data plan it according to the manual. The reception has been excellent everywhere. However what is really nice is AT&T doesn't require data with this model so you can use it as just a phone and message phone.
Excerpt: I got my AT&T LG Neon free when I renewed my service plan. As a free phone I can’t complain too much; however I feel like there are other better quality “free upgrade” phones that I could have gotten. All in all, I feel as though it is great as a basic phone and the call quality is actually pretty good. Since I have a hard time with touch screens, I like that only a portion of it has that feature.
Summary: I wasn't able to use it because the phone arrived pretty badly damaged. I returned it immediately. I have the the original neon and I don't like the fact that the arrow buttons are attached to letters. On the Neon 2 the arrow buttons are by itself which makes it easier to text.
