Summary: This Purple Lotus works just like my original LG purple Lotus. I have found no problems. The battery worked fine also. I thought it a good idea to have a second one if it were to ware out or malfunction in the future. I have used this LG Lotus since they came out several years ago. My original one was stolen and I wanted the best cell phone not requiring internet to function so i replaced it with the same.
Excerpt: The keyboard is not as small as you would expect, although it is a little smaller than a qwerty keyboard with no flip screen on it. Another nice part about this phone is when you set a picture as your background/screensaver, it does not ruin the quality. I have had that problem with both of the other phones that I’ve bought from Sprint. I’ve had my LG Lotus phone for many months so far and there has been absolutely no problem.
Summary: I adore this phone. It is cute, compact, and works like a charm. The phone flips open and has a full keyboard. You can put music and games on it if you like- I had the Oregon Trail. It's very user friendly, you can choose what menu items you want on your tool bar, it has calculator, calendar, alarm clock, GPS, etc. The charger is also the same one I have for my kindle, so I can just swap between the 2 when I need to charge.
Summary: Not a data phone but a useful one with a great keyboard, nice size, and outstanding battery life. They should have stuck with this one. I will keep mine until it falls apart. My wife just purchased a refurbished one after her newer LG phone stopped working.
Pros: Dropped it maybe 5,000 times these past two years and it still works flawlessly. I can text quickly, easily: love the QWERTY keyboard. Dented and scratched to no end: still works. Looks cute. I get compliments on it still! Pictures are good.
Cons: A little out dated now-a-days. Internet is a little slow. Cannot load large webpages.
