Nothing but problems

shell, lg.com
13 August 2013
  • Summary: I've had nothing but problems with this phone. It shuts off randomly, overheats easily, freezes a lot, etc. I've had it for a year and when it completely shut off completely and wont turn back on, that's the last straw. My phone is crucial for my business and this has been nothing but a let down.

The phone seems to be defective with Boost

Mike, LG Electronics Ratings and Reviews
19 April 2013
  • Summary: Since January 2013 I have replaced this phone 3 times. Each time after one month I loose signal strength and the service is disconnected as if there was a power outage with Boost. Yet my carrier claims no outages and my account is always in good standing, the phone never regains the carrier signal and is not usable. This phone has the same problem each month and has no viruses. it has been a big headache for me.
  • Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings

  • Summary: I bought my Marquee, back in Febuary. I found it easy to use and it is user friendly. The only thing I have a problem with is the battery life I had to buy another one.

Love all the features on this phone!

Becky, lg.com
14 August 2012
  • Summary: I've had this phone for about 5 wks. and I haven't found anything negative about it yet! I love the 5 MP rear camera & the fun that can be had with the 2 MP front camera. My granddaughters will have fun doing self portraits! Lots of memory & fast speed connecting make it wonderful. It holds up to a 32GB microSD card & I put that in to hold all the pictures, music, & files I want. I think the 4" screen is great & it adjusts to sunlight to prevent glare.

GREAT PHONE!!! :-)

wetbiker7, CNET
12 June 2012
  • Summary: This is an awesome little phone that does what's it's supposed to do and more. The phone will need to be rooted to unlock it's full potential but once that's done you're off to the races. Mine is running at 1.4GHz right now and IT WILL support the larger sd cards. I'm running a 16 GB class 10. The screen is awesome too and has very vibrant colors.
  • Pros: Light, slim, FAST, cheap, and on the Boost shrinkage plan. You can't beat $40 a month which is where I'm at.
  • Cons: Battery life. I just bought 2 extra 1800mah batteries and keep a charger in the car. No worries.

Functional non-contract phone

Elemancer, CNET
16 March 2012
  • Summary: The marquee is a great phone for a non-contract carrier, particularly on Boost mobile. Figure if you have a $40/mo unlimited plan that beats the heck out of getting the latest whizbang phone.
  • Pros: Simple baseline, Lightweight, Durable
  • Cons: Quirky lockups (think it's more an OS issue), Pretty vanilla phone
