The LG KU990 Viewty has a flash user interface and downloadable wallpapers. It too can store up to 500 entries and can list 40 dialed, missed and received calls. It has a 100 MB shared memory but has a microSD card slot. Its display size is three inches. It has a TFT touchscreen type display having 256K colors.

Email, EMS, MMS and SMS are its messaging features. Browsing can be done because of the WAP and HTML. The camera has 5 megapixels for its resolution. It too has an autofocus and video recording features. It has a secondary camera used for video calling. More features of this cellular phone include an organizer, voice memo, a built-in handfree. It also has an FM radio, Java MIDP 2.0 and a digital player. Its battery is a Li-ion 1000 mAh that has a talk time of 430 hours and talk time of four hours.

So, let’s sum the things up: the Viewty looks well, has all that a modern “touch-phone” needs, form-factor – large, high-quality touch display, decent dimensions, and an eye-catching interface. On the other hand, it offers plenty of multimedia features, such as 5-megapixel camera with the best video camcorder found on a phone and DivX playback, which allows watching of high-quality videos. Got the LG KU990 Viewty on upgrade with o2, came from a k800i which was easily the best phone i had ever owned. Well, now it has an equal. The viewty is a doddle to use. The day i got it i was up and running in ten minutes ( including the time it took me to walk next door to pick up the parcel !! ). Read more
