Excerpt: The LG KP500 Cell Phone or other wise know as the "cookie phone" lacks a lot of ... everything! This phone was really a let down after my old chocolate phone (which was worse!). The features include a fairly moderate touchscreen, a very sleek and smooth design, a rubber/plastic like feel. 3 pushable buttons. A 3.0 megapixel camera. A touchscreen stick (such as the Nitendo DS)And the basic features of any ordinary cellphone. The Pros: This phone is pretty reliable.
Excerpt: I've had this phone for a little over a year and I finally decided to retire it a few days ago. I'll begin by saying that I received this as a gift from a friend, after she decided she didn't like this phone either. That should have been a warning sign. This phone is a pretty cute phone, I'll admit. The compact size is great and it fits perfectly in my jean pocket, which I prefer.
Summary: When the phone arrived it looked cute just as pictured and was easy to set up and personalize with my own pics and tunes for wallpaper and ringtones. After two days the covering over the back screw fell off. After one week the door that covers the charger fell off and it is also impossible to txt with this phone. When you hold the phone landscape and use the full keyboard words disapear before you can finish them.
Summary: In the first place i thought it was a good cellphone it turned out it had the wrong charger and every time i turned it on the screen went black because of no battery and no charger in the first place it turned on and after that it did not even turn on.And at the end the screen became all blurry and you could barely see anything. The only good thing is that you got your money back.
Summary: A decent phone with basic features and a touch screen BUT many problems: - the touch screen gets worn out very quickly and becomes difficult to deal with after a while - the phone is just generally very flimsy and not durable - the phone would shut down randomly
Summary: I really liked the small size but that's where it ends. The battery didn't hold much power. It required recharging after less than 8 hrs of mostly sittng. I maded a few phoned calls and was surprised to learn that it needed charging. I couldnlt text to a couple of #s. The error msg I kept getting said "exceeded the allowable numbers." Yet I was able to text others. After 2 wks of use, I couldn't recharge the battery at all.
Summary: I was looking for a decently priced unlocked cell phone; this was my decision. However, after several months of usage, I can confidently say that it is NOT a good phone. It is not worth its price by far: 1. Very low sensitivity on the keyboard. It has a cheap quality touch screen. Really bad. 2. Extremely slow in its operation. 3. Low volume, especially on speaker phone mode. 4. email and internet functions are basically impossible to use.
Summary: Its been six months since i bought this phone i am absolutely vexed with this one. Calls keep dropping with this Cell, Headphones are very brittle and so is the charger, the call clarity is not great, Its hard to work with its touch screen. Its an absolute NO NO from me if you ask my advice.
