Demand for mobile phones with touch-sensitive screens has increased a lot during the last year and all kinds of models appeared on the market. However, only a small number of them are intended for the common user, who is not looking for a lot of extras, such as an 8-megapixel camera and GPS, he’d rather want a reasonable price and a modern appearance. The LG Cookie KP500 had us torn because, on the one hand, it's an affordable touchscreen phone that works well for the most part, but, on the other hand, it has flaws. The most apparent issue is the lack of any juicy features to make it really stand out from the crowd. It's a shame that such a well-designed handset doesn't have 3G, for example. If all you're looking for is a touchscreen phone that does the basics, then this is it. Read more

This isn't an iPhone but then it's not trying to be. This is a simple, affordable touchscreen phone but LG has had to make plenty of sacrifices to bring the price down. If you're desperate for a touchscreen phone and aren't really looking for features then this is great but if you want an iPhone-like experience then we'd suggest looking elsewhere. Read more

It's not exactly scientific but the LG Cookie simply makes sense. Smart and confident, though never self-important, it doesn't seek to impress but is straightforward, credible and convincing. Great handling, attitude and a distinct identity are not guaranteed even in the high end, and that's something the LG KP500 Cookie should be proud of. The price tag seems the all too convenient excuse for the middling spec sheet. Read more

I was completely taken aback when I saw the box with the pricing of this touch screen handset the LG KP500 cookie - Rs. 13,990. It amazed me that a large screen touch sensitive handset would cost so little. This could well be the cheapest totally touch screen handset on the Indian market, but what I’m sure you'd need to know is if it's still worth even that price. Let me clue you in this entry level touch screen handset. Read more

AN AMAZING VERIZON MESSAGING PHONE! I had, owned the LG VX5400 prior to owning this wonderful phone. I purchased it because I was in the market for a new device, and my contract was up. I have used many smartphones and QWERTY keyboarded phones, so I decided on another one (even though my last was not a qwerty). As soon as I got this phone I really thought of the ENV9900. This was my last eNV phone that I had owned, and because of me washing it was left with the 5400. Read more
