Excerpt: ... amazing. It's so intuitive and easy to use, I love it. Nice sleek looks, screen is a little small but good. Camera is okay but I don't use, mutimedia is so great. Excellenjt phone overall, best to use.
Excerpt: "I bought this phone as I liked the fact that it looks like a completely touch screen phone but has a key pad hidden away under the slider, which makes it a very good looking and practical phone. It comes with all the usual features you would expect from a new phone which includes an alarm clock, calendar, stop watch and a calculator all of which I have used (the alarm and calculator on an almost daily basis) and work well. There is a three mega ...
Excerpt: "Hi! Why slider? I named it "The Slider Phone" because it has specific sound when you slide it up or down. You can change this sound, but not to anything you want. You can change it to one of five sounds. On the phone you have the standard numbers and touch menu. You have Internet(if you buy it with package), and you have the full statistics of calls. You also have "tool box" if I can say it in that way... In this "tool box" you get: Alarm Clock, ...
Pros: Good look, MP3 Player, Not bad camera
Cons: Well it's nothing special, it just has touch menu . . . .
LG KF600 : Good starter phone for touch technology
15 June 2009
Excerpt: "...as an upgrade to my LG Shine phone after much searching and researching, as I liked the idea of having a touch screen interface as well as slide function and a keypad for texting. I found the battery cover to be difficult to remove but after a couple of tries it seemed to get easier, although I wouldn't exactly describe it as user friendly. The touch screen was accurate and easy to use and although it was 'only' a 3.2 mega pixel resolution the ...
Excerpt: "...two minds about the split-screened LG KF600. On the one hand, contextual menus are a very good idea, offering users an easier way to interact with their phones, but how these contextual interfaces are accessed makes a big difference. While the KF600's lower-half touchscreen isn't the worst I've ever used, the concept doesn't work as well as I expected. We were really frustrated when instinctively pressing the top half of the screen to access icons, ...
Pros: Looks good, Two screens, 3mp camera
Cons: Hard to text, Hard to keep clean (touching screen)
Summary: The phone looks awesome. It has an excellent camera for a phone that isn't made for pictures. The music player is great and has a lot of functions. The battery life is quite low, that being the reason for not getting a 10. Also, the touch screen is very sensible and you have to be careful not to delete what you need. It's small, has an 3.5 mm adaptor, a micro SD card slot and the only thing it lacks is 3G or better. Overall, a great phone based on a great concept.
Pros: The touch screen that changes its functions depending on what you access.
Cons: Pretty slippery fingers make sure you delete what you shouldn't.
Excerpt: "The LG Venus KF600, provided to me by LG Blog, is a fairly new slider phone which is partially touchscreen. Unlike the LG Viewty, there are two screen (one of which, the InteractPad is touchscreen) and numbers and letters are inputted through a standard keypad. The phone's key feature, the InteractPad, replaces traditional navigation keys and updates depending what you want to do. When the phone is shut, no buttons are visible because it is a screen ...
