Summary: This is an Awesome phone !!! I've been using for many months now. During my vacation I used it in many countries with various SIM cards and it worked great without any issues in all kinds of weather. Video & Pics taken with this phone are GREAT. I highly recommend this.
Summary: Got this phone about mid-July 2011, and I am ROUGH on phones, drops, weather, etc. This no warranty phone has proved out with me, using 3rd party at&t carrier with very good results (saving money not using at&t). NO dropped calls, data working with edge, kinda slow but for the web I use it is great. Wifi works fine, great for looking for new movies while grabbing a bite.
Summary: So this is my first smart phone so i dont really have anything to compare it to, but i love this phone! Its sleek and looks really cool, even before you turn it on. Its classic android, no complaints with that! It will virtually do anything for you, who needs a computer. Its easy to use and in my personal opinion is way better that the iphone OS.
Summary: It is an older version new phone from LG. I used it mainly for overseas. Just put in the SIM card and it works perfectly. The WIFI feature works good too. It also works with an AT&T card here in the states too.
A great deal for Cyanogen Android Mod 2.3.4 Gingerbread!

Summary: No complaints here. I ordered over 20 of these GT540 phones, they are great when the are actually unlocked, I upgraded them all to Cyanogen Android Gingerbread Mod 2.3.4. The couple I got that weren't unlocked out-of-the-box were easily returned and refunded, so if you get the bigger box that is black and says the phone is by 'Orange mobile' then just go ahead and send it back because you can't use it with any company other than 'Orange' in the UK.
Summary: I ordered this phone as a replacement and it works like a charm. The shipping was fast and the item description is accurate. I haven't had any problem with this phone. It has a decent battery life and the camera isn't so good, but what can you expect out of a 3MP camera. Wi-Fi is pretty fast, when browsing the internet. Bluetooth works fine, only tested it once. Although, the resistive screen is a bit annoying, since the phone is a bit small, it's harder to press.
Yes it CAN run Gingerbread 2.3.7. Want to know how? Read on. Should have double checked the supported 3G band for AT&T (1900)

Summary: Well, I knew I would be well covered for 2G but I am going to miss out on 3G as this phone only supports 850, 900, and 2100 on 3G (HSDPA). Apparently AT&T uses 1900 for 3G. Oh well, don't need it because I don't have to pay for a data plan. Neener neener AT&T. At any rate, for the price, this is a nifty phone. It's not a Ferrari like the Galaxy II or some higher end phones but it's got some great future potential if you're one for modding and rooting your phone.
