Excerpt: I am one of the first buyers of LG Optimus GT 540. Being a smart phone freak, I was planning to get this phone after reading some of its reviews on internet. And, as expected I got it at the earliest. The phone has not disappointed me.
Excerpt: Since I really did not need a high-end phone but I do not want to be getting a compromised kind, I decided to buy a touch screen phone which is not much of a financial burden. LG is not so familiar with me except in home appliances.
Summary: was slow to boot and the touch response was one of the slowest i've ever experienced (not the worst though because that was made by a company that's now defunct) on top of that we ordered 2 and one had a bad battery HOWEVER the seller was very understanding and refunded the money quickly after we returned them so the seller got a 5 star review because it's not his fault the phone isn't very good
Summary: i have nothing positive to say about this other than the battery life, while not using the thing! if your on it more than a few times a day it only last for the day. if you dont use it much at all.. the battery has lasted me up to 3 days before... but other than that the keyboard is horrible, i cant sms or hardly even call the buttons are small and you have to press to hard. i constantly am fighting the buttons.... I WOULDNT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
Summary: I bought this to gift some one, but I used it for couple of days and I really loved it. The display and touch screen is very good and responsive. Since this is android lots of apps are preinstalled and you can add more from market. Battery life is little less but enought for the day. It has very less internal memory so external card is must buy with this. This is a great gift for some one who non techie.
Summary: I've had this phone for about 4 weeks now and overall, it's a pretty good entry level smartphone. It is an International version, and comes with the opening screen in German. I would recommend connecting to LG's UK site to download any software upgrades and the English manual, unless you are fluent in German. I was able to set it up with T-Mobile fairly easily once I had the necessary codes (see the user forum).
