Summary: Bought this phone to avoid flip and slide types. It's slim--fits nicely in pockets. But it has some issues that I wish I'd known about beforehand.... T9 doesn't learn words, so you end up typing the same words over and over (and I'm a bit disappointed with the phone's lack of vocabulary). Also, pocket-dialing has become an issue. My phone has downloaded things while in my pocket, and that's with the key lock on!
Summary: I love this phone except it unlocks in my purse on a regular basis because the two buttons that need to be pressed to unlock it are the raised buttons on the key pad. In fact, My phone has texted many people and even downloaded a number of programs without me knowing it. It has cost me $70 in download fees because the center raised button (which everything hits) not only unlocks the phone it also takes you to the media center then the download center and then is the "OK"...
Summary: I don't know what LG was thinking when they made this phone. It pocket dials all the time even with a doubble lock on the key pad! It blows my ear out to let me know that the battery is getting low. Voice quality is poor and so is the quality of the materials. Stay AWAY!
Summary: Backup Assistant doesn't seem to work on this phone. I've had two in the past week. If you click on BA from the phone, it'll reset the phone. If you go to the computer and choose backup now, it'll reset th phone. VZW can't seem to resolve the problem. LG's cust serv is useless. If you don't care about BA, the phone is great .. fun. But if you're relying on BA, beware. It may not be backing you up. Neither of the ones I had did.
