Summary: Where to start... I bought the phone on a contract with O2 12 months ago and I can't wait for the next year to pass so that I can actually get a new phone without costing the earth. The phone itself is built from flimsy plastics, and the L and G plastics have actually fallen off the back within the first 6 months. The screen scratches with the slightest touch of something non-human. The user interface is so slow.
Summary: I purchased this phone as I hadn't tried LG before so I thought "Why not"? Well what a mistake I made - its incredibly slow and sluggish, making and receiving calls is awkward and to top it all is that it's not compatible with Vista!! I took it back to the shop and swapped it for a Samsung Jet. Don't waste your time with this phone, its the worst I have ever had!
Summary: I received this phone as a Christmas present, and although at first I really liked the phone, within a month my phone had become faulty. My screen goes black, and I can't answer calls, I can't call people. My phone freezes non stop and regularly comes up with the message "Not available for this SW release" on simple functions such as calling someone from my phone book. I have read up on these problems and it seems that many people have had the same problem.
Summary: I owned the original LG Viewty for a year and a half, and was offered the chance to keep my contract at a lower price. Ever eager to have the latest gadgets I declined in favour of upgrading to the Viewty Smart. Boy what a mistake that was! Here is a (non-exhaustive!) list of problems I have experienced so far: 1. Signal is poorer than on the original Viewty despite being on the same network 2. The touchscreen is infuriatingly unresponsive at times.
Summary: I bought this phone a few months ago on Orange just after it came out. My daughter has a Viewty, which she loves, so I thought that the new improved model should be great. Upon initial inspection, the phone really looks the part. The screen is nice and big and bright, with good definition. The sound is impressively clear. The camera is excellent in "point and shoot" mode.
