Summary: I read all the reviews on this and they all refereed to getting a refurbished one. So I bought a refurbished Verizon LG Extravert No No Contract QWERTY 2MP Camera Touchscreen Cell Phone - For Verizon Postpaid Plans. I tried to activate this phone online but was unsuccessful, it told me I needed to call Customer Service (Verizon). I had called Customer Service(Verizon).

Summary: The phone appeared new and was easy to switch one of my lines to it. However, when I finished entering contacts and slid the keypad closed, the phone did not recognize that it was shut. I tried several times to open and close it, but it would not correct itself. Finally, I turned it completely off and on. At that point it was fine...for about 10 minutes, when it acted like the keypad had been slid open.
Summary: Turned out to be a dud phone. Not the sellers fault though, so I still highly recommend!!! It worked for about a month, if that. But, even then it was giving me problems. First Extrovert to ever do that.
Summary: I can see why this phone is discounted. If it was full price, I would be very unhappy with its performance.....certainly not a phone I'd pay hundreds for......but for under $40 I cant complain too much. It just seems to freeze up a lot and get stuck doing normal everyday operations like checking texts. We have 3 (Dad, Mom, Son)...and all 3 seem to freeze up the same way, and they were even purchased from different sellers at different times.
Summary: I didn't read the description closely and was unaware I purchased prepaid phone. But I called Verizon and the rep did let me activate the phone immediately on an existing family plan. Probably because they are already getting $200/mo from us. The phone is a first phone for a 13 year old. Works fine for him. I'm not crazy about the touch screen. Definitely not like today's smart phones. Key board is nice for texting. Basic functions work fine.
Summary: I've had mine for about 2 years, it was great the first year and then the problems started. It would randomly power itself off even after being on charge the night before. The screen has its own problems, touch the send button or replying to a text and it often wouldn't work requiring 7 or more tries to get it to respond.
