Summary: This phone is terrible from my experiences. It would randomly turn on and off and it would take forever to turn back on. I have had two in the past 3 years and this last one would not turn on what-so-ever after a year of owning this one. It was able to type easily but it would freeze quite often. To fix this, I would have to completely shut down the phone and turn it back on. I would NOT recommend this phone to anyone else.
I love the phone, but it has no battery life of which to speak

Summary: My old Verizon phone broke, so I purchased this one to tide me over until I can upgrade. I prefer phones with actual keyboards to touch-screens, possibly because of my large fingers that tend to push multiple on-screen buttons on touch-screens. The phone works well, and I am enjoying it. Unfortunately, however, the seller did not indicate that the battery life on a full charge is about 5 hours on standby and only about 15 minutes speaking on calls.
Summary: As far as the product, its a good phone with only one issue that it will turn off, and not come back on. When you try and charge it, it won't charge. I have had 2 of these phones with the exact same issue. The seller of this particular product though, failed to mention the water damage and damaged MicroSD card slot. This phone had the aforementioned problem, and does not work either.
Excerpt: i have had this phone about a year and have 4 others in the family with the same one i havent had much trouble with mine after i replaced the 1st one how ever both my daughter and my son have had about 6 new phones due to thm not standing up when they work they work well when they dont you replace constantly for screen breaking the outside buttons not working and for the buttons sticking i wouldnt ever get this phone again.
Excerpt: When I qualified for my Verizon 2 ear upgrade I was super excited about getting this phone! I had researched it and all of the features I was looking for led me to the EnV3. I was upgrading from the EnV2 so I figured it would be similar so I wouldn't have that much of a jump in the learning department. When I upgraded to this phone I noticed that when text messaging the phone couldn't keep up with my typing.
Would be a great phone if not for the software problems.

Excerpt: There are a lot of things I love about this phone. I love the qwerty keyboard, the sleek style, the great graphics of the screen, and many more things. However, I can't get past the software issues that make this phone power down 3-4 times a day. I have taken it in to Verizon more times than I can count and every time they tell me it is a software issue.
Excerpt: I recently upgraded my phone from the LG Chocolate to the LG EnV3. I was very excited to get the LG EnV3 phone, and it has many features that I love. I loved the qwerty keyboard on the inside of the phone. This makes for very easy texting! I also loved that it did not have the "touch" screen feature of my old phone. The inside screen is very large and easy to read.
Excerpt: I got this phone from Verizon. I originally got it because I wanted to text with a keypad but also wanted an actual number pad on the front of the phone. This met all of my original qualifications so I bought the phone. However, since I got the phone it has been nothing but problems. It shuts off on its own constantly. I will be expecting a call and will never get it and I look down at my phone and it has shut its self off.
Excerpt: I am a hardcore verizon customer and have been purchasing the LG enV for years. Everytime an upgrade was in order, I always purchased the upgraded version of the enV offered by the company. My most recent phone, however, has done something that no other phone preceding it has done...it just turns off.
ENV3 is a nice looking phone that lacks performance!

Excerpt: I got this phone March 2010 and have not been impressed. To be fair, there are several features I do like. For example, I like that you gave save 10 people as your "favorites" and it creates little shortcuts for that. I also like that when I go to send a message (using the phone open to the keyboard) I don't have to go to contacts to add someone, I can just type their name. The things I do not like about the phone is that it is SLOW!
