Summary: This was the worse purchase that I have ever made with amazon. The phone never did turn on. It was in worse condition than what was stated that it was in. Will never purchase that way again. Just wanted to get a replacement phone. Wind up not even using it at all it wouldn't even work.
Summary: I got this item very promptly. However when I called verison wireless to activate my new phone it came up as lost or stolen when I gave them the Meid number on the phone. Verizon will not activate the phone ever once this has happened. We will see how the return goes or what they will do to make this right. Will update my review then...The phone was in brand new condition and seemed to function great other than the fact that i could not activate it.
Summary: This is a great texting phone, does nice photos, and you don't need a data plan. However, after trying 3 of these, it appears the battery latch is a bad design. Tapping the phone anywhere near the latch end causes the battery to release and fall out. It happened many times a day for me. A second phone I tried did the same thing. Each time, the phone shuts off and you may miss calls. Unlike most cell phones, on this one, the battery and the outside cover are one piece.
Summary: The phone looks good but when I tried to activate it, Verizon informed me that it is a device that has been reported as STOLEN!!! Verizon rep told me that the consumer should always ask first from the seller what the MEID or ESN # is before purchasing any cell phone then to verify it with the carrier to make sure it is not a hot item. Well, now I know. Should be ZERO star!
Always problems with phone (charging, buttons not working)!!!!!!
9 September 2012
Excerpt: First the "OK" Button would not work within 2 months of use. Within 6 months of use started to have problems with the charging port. After 9 months of use, the phone does not charge at all with AC charger nor the car charger!! This phone is not abused!! If there is anyone else having these problems, please notify Consumer Reports. With more complaints may require a recall of this product (LG NV2).
Excerpt: My husband and I decided to downgrade after having a black berry and a black jack to save some on our phone bill. We live in a rural area so we not only have our phones through verizon but also an aircard, and this gets very expensive very quick. We were paying enough each month to make a payment on a new car.
Excerpt: I got this phone a year ago. Recently traded it for a smart phone. It was great for awhile, then I spent months with it shutting down on its own. Progressively getting worse, until I couldnt keep it turned on for more than a half hour. It was nothing I did wrong on my part. Verizon tried fixing it by rubbing an eraser acorss the contacts and upgrading software - this did not help at all. I tried many internet searches for a solution.
Excerpt: I purchased this phone over a year ago and I can't wait until it's time to get an upgrade. Ever since I had this phone, it's given me all sorts of problems. The first phone (yes, the one I currently have is a replacement) would shut off on it's own. I missed many important phone calls because I thought my phone was on and later found out that it had turned itself off. Also when I did receive my phone calls, there would be times when my calls were dropped.
Summary: I bought this phone yesterday 8/4 and everything was fine. I put it on charge before I went to bed and when I got up it wouldn't do nothing. I changed chargers and still nothing. I'm getting my money back.
