The best "basic" phone available, even though it is no longer produced.

Summary: I have been using this phone for about 2 years. It is without a doubt, the most solid, reliable "basic" phone for verizon. I bought this one to replace one of the same model I already had that was finally starting to die, after being fully submerged in water over a year ago. I took the batter off, stuck it in a cup of rice, and a few days later it was working again.
Summary: Needed a replacement phone. Wasn't interested in a smartphone or typing on a screen. Read rave reviews of this phone at many websites. Glad I got this phone. It is much slimmer and lighter than it's predecessor. It is simple to use and has "Easy Set-up" to walk you through customizing the appearance of internal and external displays. I use my phone for the basic functions of talking, texting, and some picture taking. The phone sounds great on and off speaker.
Summary: I owned the EnvTouch before this and I couldn't get used to the touch screen. Switching to this ENV3 was worth it. I bought it for the non touch screen. It opens to a full keyboard for easy typing. You are able to set all the shortcut keys on the outside of the phone and on the inside of the phone. It is always easy to unlock the phone and dial in an emergency or to get to contacts right away.
Summary: One of the best cell phones I have ever owned. I tried the new touch screen phones and I did not like them at all. My wife along with my sister & her husband and my brother & his wife all agreed and all have switched back to phones identical to it and same model. The cell companies and makers of these cell phones need to hear our voices in what is working and what is not working.
Best phone for texting and phone use. Good battery life and size.

Summary: I have had the phone for about 4 months now. I am very happy with the entire transaction. The phone works great. I had the ENV3 for 2 years before I rototilled it into the garden. (and then the only funtion I lost was the camera) I wanted the same phone for simple voice and a good texting keyboard. No screen touch stuff. Can't beat the price and functionality and size. I do all my internet work on laptop or touch pad.
Awesome phone and great for kids who love texing, also for grandparents

Summary: This phone is great even if you aren't a heavy texter. It also has great speaker quality so if you are a big talker you can hear amazingly well. The key board is very easy to use and it has a lot of great features like the music player. They are great for the whole family; grandparents included. The screen is a great size too. You can see everything. No squinting or pulling the phone to your face to see what is being displayed.
Excerpt: I love this phone. I bought it brand new 4 months ago. I like the whole keyboard thing and makes texting easy. It sucks that you cant really do much with the front screen like you can with its predecessor the LG Octane. The keyboard is laid out better unlike the env 2 where it had 2 space bars? I also don't like how when you drop it the battery comes flying out. The camera i noticed on the Env 2 it was 3.2 megapixels and they dropped it to 3 megapixels.
A good, low cost option with amazing battery life.

Excerpt: I've had this phone for about two years. It has served me well in the limited capacity in which I use it - I don't have a data plan, so I mostly use it to send texts (which is extremely easy with the full QWERTY keyboard) and receive phone calls. The good: Call reception is great, and the alarm clock has never once failed me. The battery life is FANTASTIC. I only charge my phone for a couple of hours every 3-5 days and it's good to go.
