Good Value, Reliable, Basic

ladonna63, LG Electronics Ratings and Reviews
20 October 2013
  • Summary: I've had this simple phone for 4 or 5 years, working off the original battery. No problems. Battery life is exhausted rapidly when used with car speaker phone system. Otherwise, it needs to be charged every day or two. Texting feature is easy. After 3 years of use, some keys started to stick ... "sstttticcckk". Annoying, but not enough to buy a new one. I don't use other features much.
  • Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Quality

prompt

marie flanagan, Amazon
4 October 2013
  • Summary: This item was delivered promptly, without any complications. Unfortunately, the phone lasted just a couple of months before a defective part made the phone unusable. Having passed its 30 day return period and being discontinued by the manufacturer...the phone is unusable junk. Had I purchased through Amazon directly, I likely would have had better recourse.

Served its purpose

  • Summary: I needed a new phone but didn't want to change my basic data plan with my carrier. I have a blackberry and iPad with work so I didn't need more connections...just a personal phone that I can text more easily with. It's good. I do find its hard to read the screen at times, but its OK.

Gets the job done, giving 4 stars, preferred my LG Verizon Chocolate to this model...

Virgil, Amazon
8 March 2013
  • Summary: Giving this phone 4 stars. It gets the job done and like the other users the only complaint I have about the phone itself is the battery life, that's why it gets 4 stars. Like other users the battery life could be better. As for personal preferences: -I preferred my old LG Verizon Chocolate with the thumb-wheel to scroll contacts; -as opposed to the Chocolate, you have to open the phone to read text messages; -this particular phone does not appear to have a combination...

No data plan required

LMK, Amazon
8 March 2013
  • Summary: This is one of the few models that does not require a data plan. Easy to use key pad for texting. Has vibrate and silent modes. Has calendar, note pad, speaker, several features. Very pleased with this phone and its features. After several months and a few drops, phone works, but does turn off from time to time.

Decent phone, battery could be better

  • Summary: I like this phone. Good qwerty keypad. Some say it's too small for texting but I have large hands and not a problem. As dumb phones go, this is perfectly fine.

Great basic phone with no date plan needed.

lenoreloveskarl, Ebay
6 June 2012
  • Summary: I got this phone primarily because I do NOT want a data plan...And also because I decided after having a touch-screen Kin2 that these 52-year-old fingers need a regular querty keyboard with large keys. I like the phone very much...it's easy to use and has a decent camera.I did buy a micro SD card from Walmart to store more pictures and songs on it. The only thing I dislike so far about it is that I couldn't transfer my contacts over from my Verizon account..
