Excerpt: The envy phones are fat and bulky. i think they are very over rated. The key pad for txting is cool, but for some of us the big phone doesnt work out. have you ever been in class n try to txt using this phone...without getting caught that is? well i dont have this phone but i would imagine it wouldnt be too easy. the front screen really is too small, and you cant use the speaker unless the phone is open.. need less to say there are more cons in my opionon then pros.
Excerpt: I loved the look of the phone from the commercials. It seemed to have everything I wanted in a phone, it was cute, had a full keyboard and was very nice. But as soon as I got it, things went down hill. It was really bulky, and couldnt be put in my pants pockets. It would freeze a lot to the point where I would have to take the battery out and re-start it. And to top it off one month after I first got it the phone shut itself off and wouldnt turn back on.
Excerpt: I am honestly not sure what possessed me to even try the enV phone. I had previously owned a Treo 650 PDA phone, and was fairly happy with it. But when it was time for a new phone, I decided to try something different. I thought this would have all the features I would need the most, like a "qwerty" keyboard and email. I found that the email feature is so difficult to use and sync, I don't even bother with it anymore. The web browser is also a joke.
Excerpt: When I first got the env, I loved it. It worked well for what I needed. However, in just over a year, I have had to replace it due to manufacturing issues. The first time, the battery would no longer charge but the battery was not dead. They replaced it with a refurbished version of the same thing. Now, the refurbished env will not charge. They replace a bad model with another of the same thing and now it is past the warranty and they won't replace it again.
Excerpt: When I bought this phone, I thought I was so cool with my touchscreen phone with QWERTY keyboard. Boy, was I ever wrong! Several friends (and acquaintances) told me that others had had problems with this phone. However, being stubborn, I refused to listen to them. Three months later, I had to throw the phone on the ground to get it TO work.
Excerpt: Here is the long and the short. This phone is a piece of junk. It is the least durable phone I have ever owned. I have abused other phones far more than this one and had less happen to the. This phone shuts off at random times for no apparent reason except that I put pressure on some unusual spot on the battery or some such. The memory card slot doesn't work anymore. The battery time has sucked from the get go, never mind if you are in an area where coverage is sketchy.
Excerpt: First time cell phone user and I have to pick the LG-Envy. I get the phone from Verizon rep. not informed that I have 2 months free internet surfing and after it is over I have to cancel service so I get billed when the 3rd month comes. From the very begining the cell phone looses power so quick that during a phone call when it says I have 2 bars left it cuts me off with no warning right in the middle of a very important call from my lawyer. I used the calculator...
Excerpt: When i first saw the enV i was in love and had to have it so i ended up getting it for my birthday and i now wish i would ahve chosen a better phone. it scratches very easily the buttons stick, the camera is slow, it doesnt tell me someones calling it just randomly shows up days later that ive got a voice mail, it will randomly open stuff that i have no idea where its from and worst of all ive had it nearly 6 months and i dont receive messages and people dont recieve...

Excerpt: We purchased 3 of these phones in April 08. One would not hold a charge. Determined it was the phone, not the battery. Sent it to LG service center. Another phone came back that service center had damaged(staple through box broke face of phone). We immediately sent back the broken one. A week and half later I got the same broken phone back with a note that it was water damaged and could not be repaired or replaced. Argued with the service center.
