LG Encore (AT&T Wireless)

PC Magazine
13 December 2013
  • Conclusion: The LG Encore is yet another capable feature phone that AT&T has ruined by attaching an expensive, required messaging and data plan.
  • Pros: Excellent voice quality. Svelte design. Good Web browser.
  • Cons: Sluggish. Poor music and video playback. Bloatware-infested. High monthly fees.

LG Encore - black (AT&T)

CNET
15 August 2011
  • Summary: The LG Encore may have a good set of features, but its poor touch screen and lagging performance prevent us from recommending it.
  • Pros: The LG Encore is slim and lightweight. Features include a 3-megapixel camera, 3G, and a music player. It's affordable as well.
  • Cons: The LG Encore's touch screen is not as responsive as we would like, and its performance can be rather sluggish and inconsistent.

  • Excerpt: The Encore isn't really a messaging phone since it doesn't have a physical keyboard, but it's a simple featurephone with a 3-inch touchscreen display and a 3 MP camera. Sydney does a full review of the Encore from AT&T.

LG Encore Review

Phone Arena
24 September 2010
  • Conclusion: There's no arguing that the biggest thing going for the LG Encore is its inexpensive pricing at $49.99 – making it a lot more forgiving than the $149.99 LG Vu Plus; especially when it functions equally. Naturally, its design does exude a handset that should be priced more, but it easily stands tall amongst other similar handsets in the same boat.
  • Pros: Compact size, Solid construction, Affordable price
  • Cons: Choppy video playback, Outdated looking main menu
