LG Enact (Verizon Wireless)

PC Magazine
3 November 2013
  • Conclusion: The LG Enact is one of the few keyboarded Android smartphones on Verizon and its huge battery is a major strength, but it's an otherwise mundane entry-level option.
  • Pros: Comfortable full QWERTY keyboard. Stellar battery life. Satisfying sliding keyboard mechanism. Bright display.
  • Cons: Frequently laggy. Chunky build. Poor cameras.

Verizon's LG Enact slider keyboard types on a budget

CNET
30 September 2013
  • Summary: Verizon's budget-conscious QWERTY lovers should consider the Enact, but if cost isn't an issue, the Motorola Droid 4 is the better phone.
  • Pros: The reasonably priced LG Enact has 4G LTE, a useful and comfortable sliding keyboard, and an optional user interface for smartphone beginners.
  • Cons: Slow internal speeds and a mediocre camera tarnish the handset's otherwise reliable performance.

LG Enact Review

Phone Arena
5 September 2013
  • Conclusion: The LG Enact is an average Android smartphone for an on-contract price of $20, as it does everything OK, but doesn’t exceed at anything. The main feature is the physical QWERTY keyboard, making it ideal for teens, or anyone that doesn’t like to use an on-screen keyboard. But the lower resolution screen, slower processor, and mediocre call quality doesn’t scream “buy me” – unless you find the pricing the most attractive feature.
  • Pros: Affordable price, Physical QWERTY keyboard, Easy to hold and carry around
  • Cons: WVGA display just doesn’t cut it, Mediocre call quality, Keyboard backlight isn’t bright enough
