Summary: Good phone, but the call quality has been bad recently. Apparently it has something to do with tower upgrades and this particular phone. If you can get another model Optimus for the same $, I would recommend that since the other models are unaffected. It's also a pretty old phone at this point.
Summary: I really like this phone. I have had several Virgin Mobile phones & this is my favorite. The battery has a good amount of life, lots of storage & easy to use. WAY better than the regular Optimus! Even better than the Wildfire S. I would suggest this phone, especially for the value. I actually just bought my husband one for Christmas!
Good choice for a 1st time Android phone or a backup phone

Summary: A good upgrade from the LG Optimus V. Easy for me to type on accurately and reasonably fast. And far less prone to crash than the V. It may only have Gingerbread OS, but the phone is a far better and more reliable phone than my brand new Samsung Galaxy Centura, on Straight Talk. I'm constantly having to retype things on the Centura. And it's often slow to load apps.
Summary: I bought this phone to replace the LG Optimus V. I really like the slimmer design and all the standard features are there. I actually like it better than the other model, no hard buttons to lock up or stop working. I'm very satisfied. with this phone.
At the right price, this is an excellent entry-level Android phone

Summary: I bought this to replace my LG Optimus V that came with very little storage space for apps. So far, overall, this phone has been wonderful. This review is largely written as a comparison between these two phones. The downsides to this phone are: 1) Battery life. If you actually use your phone a lot, especially connected to Wifi & not dimming your screen (probably the same using GPS, 3G service), this will eat through a fully-charged battery way too fast.
