Decent, but not comparable to a smart phone touch

  • Excerpt: I bought this phone as it was one of 3 or 4 choices for an upgrade without upgrading to a smart phone. I didn't want a flip phone so it narrowed it to 2 choices for me. I read reviews of the 2 and went with this one, which was actually free after rebate. I initially loved the phone, but it seemed after I dropped it once (let's face it, we all drop a phone one time or another) that the touch was off just a hair and I had trouble re-calibrating it myself, however Verizon...

  • Excerpt: This phone, just like all other phones, has it's pros and its cons. First off, it was cheap!! Nothing better than that am I right? With this phone, there is no fee for the internet that is mandatory. I can't afford internet and every phone but a flip phone required it :( but no this phone!! And it isn;t a lame phone either! It actually looks pretty sweet. It is a touch screen phone and it also has the Qwerty keyboard that slides out.

  • Excerpt: this is a good middle of the line phone. from my experience with phones, this phone is decent. it is better than most low production verizon phones, but at least at the moment there is a lot of glitches in the software that im finding. my phone once froze three times in a row when trying to do something simple and it wouldnt allow me to turn it off and i had to take the battery out.

  • Excerpt: Time for an upgrade on my cell phone and after weeks of research I ended up getting the Verizon LG Cosmo Touch (VN270). I wanted the ENV touch but Verizon stopped selling NEW ones just a few days before I made my final decision (grrrr....). Anyway...I had the LG ENV V9900 and I LOVED THAT PHONE!!! It was the bomb! The problem that lead me to the Cosmo was the Bluetooth and the battery.

Nice little phone, but keyboard doesn't hold up

  • Excerpt: I like the phone ... easy to use ... QWERTY keboard is really nice for texting to my 18 year old son, however the print has worn off on several of the keys already and it's not even a year out of the box yet! Good thing I'm a typist and know the key layout or I'd be totally lost.

Great idea, bad execution

  • Excerpt: This phone looks perfect at first glance for someone like me who wants a feature phone without the expense of a data plan. I love that it slides open and its appearance is very appealing. However, the lock feature tends to unlock itself in your pocket. I've pocket dialed many, many people with this phone; never ever happened on my Chocolate 2!

  • Cons: -Every morning, phone wants you to download an app or post something to social media, which makes the lights flash occasionally, which reduces battery life.

Its and OK phone

ChillT, Phone Arena
5 August 2011
  • Excerpt: It was an ok phone for me. I did receive a lot of problems but it was also a good phone. It is a very durable phone but very sensitive. I accidently dialed my friend at least 12 times. Speakerphone was good. I lost reception in some places but not all. Texts sometimes went to the wrong people. But this is an ok phone.
