Summary: Within 3 months of using this phone, a little black dot appeared in the lower center of the screen, and it only got bigger over time. Over the course of 1 year, my screen had one big dot and one line over it. I actually could live with that, since I mostly use it for texting and calling anyway, but eventually (a little over 1 year), the phone stopped getting reception altogether. Yes, no reception no matter where I went.
Summary: I purchased this phone because I didn't want to have to sign another 2 year contract with Tmobile. When I got the phone I was excited to start using it becuase the reviews I had read online made it seem like this little phone was capable of doing mulitiple functions, but to my suprise it didn't. It is a great little phone to call and text and get online with, but thats about it.
Summary: The LG GS500 appears to be a delightful product. Based upon the vendors claims I bought the phone. I travel the world and need an unlocked mobile, so at anytime I can slip in a SIM card and I am in business. The phone was made for the UK market. LG USA does not provide warranty service for this mobile. The phone delivered to me is still locked. The mobile came in "Koodo Mobile" box (the Telco Vendor). The box had no wrapping on it, and the seal was clearly broken.
