Summary: This was not a "new item" as described. When I contacted the seller the 1st time due to a problem, they had me ship the unit they sold me at MY cost. I asked them to provide the ESN PRIOR to shipping the 2nd unit so that I could verify a clean ESN with VZ. They did not honor my request, mailed me out yet another "refurbished" unit and it stopped working within 18 days.
Summary: I Got this phone for my wife, ever since it has been activated I have had maybe 2 full conversations with her on it. All other calls have been dropped for reception issues and I know its not Verizon because my phone never drops calls.
Basic 1st Gen Touch Screen Phone, nothing Fancy, OverPriced
17 July 2013
Summary: well, first of LG/Verizon have Horrible S/W, You can't really export anything on this phone, such contacts. At least I have found an easy way of doing so. The PLASTIC IS CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP. The pressure sensitive touch screen is crappy, jerky, no very user friendly, especially if you have problems with your fingers. Its nothing like a Motorola Droid, which is Far better then this phone. If I had to do it again, I WOULD NEVER BUY THIS PHONE.
Summary: Touch screen stopped working after 3 months of use. While in the process of sending in to LG for repairs (under warranty), found that the S/N # and the MEID HEX number do not match what should be listed if it was a new phone. JUST BEWARE!!! I've learned my lesson.
Summary: Takes almost a year to text anything with this phone. The combination of a resistive touch screen with an onscreen keyboard is your worst nightmare. That would all be fine and dandy, but after 2 months the digitizer on the phone kicked the bucket. It only worked on one side of the screen and then stopped working all together. I've been nothing but gentle with it.
Summary: The LG Chocolate has been the worst phone I have ever had. Scrolling and typing was a nightmare. freezing was a constant issue. the one upstanding quality about the Chocolate is that it can't die... unfortunately. although it has been a terrible experience of a phone it has lasted longer than any phone I've ever had. in conclusion, if you care nothing about graphic quality and desire a solid, long lasting nightmare... this is the phone for you!
Summary: This phone was refurbished and not new, they labeled it as new but its not! They the screen had been replaced, it doesnt carry the Verizon logo on it like it should. There is a part of the screen to the right that has a line going from top to bottom and the touch screen doesnt work well over there. I have had this phone before, directly from Verizon and its a great phone but this phone is crap.
