Summary: I had an LG Cosmos 2 for about a year and a half. It ended up with water damage so I bought an LG Ally. As someone who has dealt with many smart phones, this is by far the worst I've come across. I bought one in April and within 2 weeks, the microphone quit working. I tend to use my phone for more talk/text time than anything so this was an issue.
"Major issues. Worst Android phone out there. DO NOT BUY"

Pros: Keyboard is the defining nice feature. Nicest keyboard of any android phone. However, the nice part stops there.
Cons: Unstable. Not powerful enough to handle recent Android OS or software updates. Chokes on basic tasks - you'll wait up to 20 seconds just for a text to open. Screen size is odd, making many apps not work right with it. Freezes often.
Pros: Nice shape of phone, easy to use keyboard, decent speakerphone.
Cons: Fails as a smart phone. Not enough memory to have even the most basic applications. I've wasted a lot of time with tech support trying to see how I can have a weather app with out making this piece of junk crash: no dice. It was sold to me as a functio
Cons: ive had so much problems with this phone. i had 5 replacement phones with this and each one gave me the same problems, and it wasn't anything i did to it.. the touch screen would freeze lot, the keyboard would go out, i wouldn't get notifications of text
Excerpt: THIS PHONE IS AWFUL. I have had this phone for about 10 months and I'm already on my second one. My first phone stopped sending and receiving text messages, it would drop calls, it froze multiple times and also ran VERY slow. It would make me force close my apps, mostly my messages and i would only be texting one person. My battery life is TERRIBLE and my touch screen stops working. My first one worked very well for the first 2 weeks and then it all went down hill.
Pros: The phone has nice features and I loved using them.
Cons: After 5 wks became ill from using this phone, very dizzy and memory problems w/use. Longer calls = more effects. Returned. 4 times the RF emissions of the phone I used to have. Went back to Sanyo, low end cell phone. I do NOT recommend this phone.
"I consider this phone dangerous - it made me feel ill"

Pros: I had liked the features, it was the first smartphone I owned. Used this for 5 weeks only... BUT
Cons: The LG Ally phone makes me feel sick (headache, dizzy) when using it, and afterward. I looked up its RF Radiation rating - 1.36, which is high. Unfortunately must return. Others have a much lower radiation output. Noticeable ill effects.
