Summary: Simple cellphone... nothing fancy but makes phone calls just fine and that is all I need . Something like this would be just fine for you kids to use to stay in touch with them as they are at their schools.
Summary: These are normally reliable phones, however this time out, I could not activate it. It has asked me to call the company for customer service. Maybe they can help. I will try a Motorola next time.
Perfect value for the money! Perfect for a first phone, or elderly.

Summary: I was looking for a "basic" phone for my elderly mother, and this fit the bill better than I expected. This also would be a great phone for a "first phone" for a teen, or child. My Mother did not need a phone with all of the features that mine has. It is far to confusing for her, and this one is much easier to explain to her, and help her to use.
Excerpt: My LG300G is very awesome. It has everything I want and more. It has all the coolest latest things. I really, really love it. It is just the right size for me. The battery lasts a very long time. I rarely ever have to charge it. It has a lot of games, just the way I like it. The volume is perfect and I can get it at just the right volume. I also love the way the text messaging is set up. It has many different message templates for me to choose from.
Summary: In this age where Bluetooth, WiFi, touchscreen, mp3/video players, FM radio, GPS navigation, PDAs, memory expansion slots, voice recognition, web browsers, digital cameras, polyphonic ringtones, etc. are being incorporated into mobile phones, the LG 300 is a severely stripped-down phone that doesn't have ANY of the aforementioned features. It's just a bare-bones, no-frills phone that's reminiscent of the mobile phones in the 90's.
